Very moderately priced restaurant, small, unusual seating rooms. I wished for delicious food. We tried caprese salad, very nice. All other appetizers were a disappointment. Group had veal parm, linguini with clam, vegetable cappalenni ( check spelling) and lasagna. All fair at best. Service was...More

This was our second visit to Luciano's and it did not disappoint! The service is wonderful! We started with bruschetta and these amazing fried green beans -- shared a yummy arugula salad with pine nuts a shaved Parmesan. I had fabulous rack of lamb with...More

This restaurant is located in downtown Dana Point (not on the water) but it is still worth a visit. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The menu is extensive and we enjoyed everything we ate.

We had a very enjoyable meal here. The food was fresh and filling. The portions are big but not overwhelming to the point that you feel over stuffed after the meal. Service was superb. We started with the eggplant appetizer followed by lasagna bolognese and...More

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner last night at Luciana's. It was held in the Wine Cellar and even though it was a bit crowded, it was loads of fun. The food was very good and our servers did a great job.

Nice meal with friends. Good wine pour at fair price. Delicious calamari, fried beans, and shrimp scampi as starters. My seafood pasta was a winner; fresh trading shrimp, scallops, and more; solid pasta (but not home made taste). Everyone enjoyed their meals, but no one...More

Quaint restaurant in the restored historical district of Dana Point. They offer excellent customer service. The chef was happy to accommodate for gluten and dairy allergies. Highly recommended.

What is the dress code at Luciana's? I saw the dining style was described as "casual elegant." Is it acceptable to wear shorts if you are traveling through the area, or should we consider dressier attire? I didn't see any reviews which described dress code. Thank you!
