Have come here about once every 2 months for brunch and have always had a pleasant experience. The food is wonderful, the staff has always been friendly (one employee saw my party cold and turned on the heat lamp for us), and the location is great right off the PCH. Highly recommend (make reservations to secure an outdoor seat).

Wonderfully fresh and healthy selections for breakfast and Brunch. I love the thick bacon and blueberry pancakes the best. Arrive early, it fills up fast!

The food here is quite good, with a good selection. It's the service that's unpredictable. One day it's great, the next it's terrible.

Just went for first time with wife, niece, sister-in-law and her husband...weather was beautiful! Sat outside...split 32 oz Bloody Mary with wife...problems with drink orders for others because some ingredients and juices had run out...waiter did best to make up including offering free mimosas...I ordered egg with bacon and turkey...niece got breakfast burrito and everyone else got omelettes...my egg benedicts... Stopped in for a late breakfast. Waited 20 minutes for an inside table (chilly February morning) and got seated next to the display of amazing cakes (and macarons and cupcakes, etc., etc.). Good coffee, but the herb tea steeped in a special container, was amazing. Blueberry Buckwheat pancakes - light and not too sweet. Yogurt with fruit (fresh strawberries/blueberries and... More

The food quality is worth the good reviews. However, the service was a little slack. We were waiting a while before we were attended to and it wasn't a busy day, only five tables were occupied. But I would go there again for the food.

We went there for Brunch on Sunday, It was my first time and I followed my Son-in-Laws lead. The Eggs Benny was the best I have ever had. The poached eggs were perfect along with the Canadian bacon and Hollandaise sauce. The service was quick and very friendly ! I look forward to returning many times.

We've been here a couple of times and always enjoyed ourselves. This time, however, we found the service lacking. There was a 10-15 minute wait & hostess asked if we'd like something to drink while waiting. We asked for coffee & iced tea. After waiting about 10 minutes we had to remind her. Once we were seated, the server immediately... More

This restaurant isn't the easiest to find, but it's worth the hunt! It has a lovely patio and ambiance, creatively prepared meals, and an attentive wait staff. It's a great place to have a relaxing lunch with with friends.

What a Dish offers a healthy menu for all meals and includes many gluten-free options. They even have meals for dogs! The outdoor patio is lovely. Located just across the street from the Dana Point Harbor.
