The dim sum at this restaurant is very good. Unfortunately, we were seated in a smaller room, which did not have room for the carts. We ordered from the menu instead. The carts were in the main dining room. Ask to be seated in the...More

This is a hot spot for Chinese immigrant families. The food is authentic with dishes not found on many Chinese restaurant menus. Everything we had was delicious. Limited choices for vegetarians, though the fish and vegetable dishes we had were excellent. The egg custard dumpling...More

Koi Palace Restaurant is better than your average Chinese restaurant so it is no surprise that their prices are somewhat higher. Is it worth it? I would say so, I liked everything that my wife and I ordered except the fried taro which I personally...More

My friend and I love the juicy shanghai dumpllings in the dipping sauce! I also enjoy the hand pulled noodle wrapped fish with its savory sweet soy sauce. The string beans, garlic herb tofu cubes, crab claws, mushroom chicken buns and roast duck are staple...More

I love Cantonese food, and this place is probably the best in the Bay Area. If you would like to eat dim sum in this restaurant on the weekend, please expect a long wait unless you get there when it opens. There are other locations...More

No hot pot. Dim sum during the day. You might be able to get a few selections of dim sum at dinner time if you ask; it all depends on how much was unsold during lunch time.

You may avoid gluten by staying with rice. Avoid wheat and flour dishes that are so common in dim-sum dishes such as BBQ pork buns, onion pan-cake, shiao-loun-pao, pot stickers, dumplings etc etc
