Disappointing visit. Went for a dinner for a friend’s event and the food was mediocre. I expected more and it was expensive for the amount of food we ordered. Would not return here.

This was my first visit to this restaurant I was very pleased. I am a Dim Sum fan and I have eaten at many places and Koi ranks right at the top. Very busy at lunch time however they move things along. The service was...More

We have been coming to this place for years, almost every time we visit SF. The place is always packed in the morning. Food is pretty good, very consistent over the years. I would say it has been on the pricey side for dim sum,...More

This place is hugely popular, so if you don't want a very long wait, I would suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before opening. Like all dim sum places, this one has a very large variety of dishes to choose from. Those that we tried...More

Perfect spot if you're a dim sun fan like me! It looks like you're somewhere eles place in Asia. The service is not very kind though the food is delicious. I had a great lunch there, I´m glad my friend was a local and took...More

Man. Their dim sum are great. Wide variety of choices and good quality. I love their tau fu fa as dessert. However parking can be a pain here especially on weekend. Also, the line can get very long if you come after 11am. That shows...More

This is by far the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life. The scallop soup was way too salty and very thin in flavor. The crispy noodle Seafood dish had very little seafood and the noodles were not even crispy. We had...More

This was our first visit to the Koi Palace and it was for a wedding reception. It looked nice but smelled really fishy. Even though it's a Seafood restaurant, it should not smell that fishy. The partitions between the party rooms were very thin. During...More

I guess if you are going to a seafood place, then get seafood. Don't ever get the "peking duck". Worse peking duck I've ever had. Never have I ever seen peking duck dish presented the way they do. They do not slice the duck at...More

Went with family for dim sum, place is always packed, everyone loves standing in the doorway for some reason and hard of hearing, "excuse me, excuse me..." thanks for moving an inch 😒. The food is ok, I've had better dim sum at other places,...More

No hot pot. Dim sum during the day. You might be able to get a few selections of dim sum at dinner time if you ask; it all depends on how much was unsold during lunch time.

You may avoid gluten by staying with rice. Avoid wheat and flour dishes that are so common in dim-sum dishes such as BBQ pork buns, onion pan-cake, shiao-loun-pao, pot stickers, dumplings etc etc
