I used to come here twice a week when I lived down the street. I enjoy the cuisine, the owners are great & it's not pretentious. Not to compare it to anywhere else you can get Burmese food in the area but I'd rather have some homey food with a chill atmosphere than do the San Francisco thing and wait... More

I enjoy Burmese food, enjoyed being there with friends and sharing many veg dishes, enjoyed the very good and friendly service, but most of the food wasn't great and was too unnecessarily oily. I did, however, really love the samosa soup!

We love Burmese food, and particularly tea leaves and ginger salads. We recently went to Pagan (one of our favorites in San Francisco) and felt that the quality was not as usual. So we decided to try something else, based on good reviews. Little Yangon was a bit of a disappointment: the salads were bland, the pickled tea leaves were... More

I like Thai food and Chinese food. Burmese food brings a little bit of both the Chinese and southeast Asian flavors to the table. Little Yangon is not a "destination restaurant." The location is fairly nondescript; somewhere out on Mission ave, in foggy Daly City. The location is pretty boring However, if you are looking for a place that is... More

I purchased a Restaurant.com gift card for this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. We usually go to Innya Lake in San Bruno for Burmese but we will be going to Little Yangon from now on, it's closer to our house. It's in a weird area of Mission St, not many establishments around, from the outside it looks so-so to not... More

I am Burmese and I can't say that the food is great. My friend and I ordered the coconut chicken soup (which I normally love) and I didn't even taste the coconut. It was bland. It's good that they are conscientious of using less salt and fish sauce, but it was way too bland. The other dishes we ordered were... More

I am so glad I could finally found A Burmese Cuisine in my hood in Daly City. It is kind of mom and pap run so it is very personal. The lady owner is always happy to see us and greet us warmly which I love. The place itself just like whole in wall but certainly had good cooking. I... More

As we walked in the chef greeted us from behind the counter of the open air kitchen. She told us someone would be right with us...friendly. For lunch we ordered fish curry, biriani rice, rainbow salad, and milk tea. The fish was sea bass in a great tasting red curry. The rice's flavor literally popped in my mouth as I... More
