Great selection of fresh fish and a variety of rolls. We were there before a movie so appreciated the attentive service.

Disappointed in the food. So pedestrian . And most disappointed in service. My sushi came out 10 minutes before my companion's food. I waited and the sushi got kinda warm. He was only served 1/2 of his combo meal. And at about 10 minutes of eating, we realized that his other 1/2 meal seemed not to be coming. It was... More
The sushi was fresh and flavorful, lots of options to choose from. The tempura tasted good but was a bit skimpy for the price. We got beer but it wasn't cold, but our waitress was great about it.
Located not far from Apple's headquarters, Azuma is on the right-hand end of a strip mall. We found it because of a Groupon coupon. After passing through the front door, we quickly noticed that the restaurant was a bit formal. Instead of some form of Japanese music, the speakers were putting out a soft piano sound. It wasn't offensive... just... More
It used to be better, I think they changed owner and you can tell business is less busy than before, because the food is not as good as before.
This is a family friendly Japanese restaurant. The food is consistently very good. We usually order the sushi and appetizers. Nice variety of sakes and beers - a few wines. They provide a well decorated, pleasant environment with low-key music playing softly in the background. There are several options for seating in chairs, tatami booths, and separate spaces for larger... More
Lots of competition in the past few years have, at least, made it easier to find a table at Azuma. Still good quality food at reasonable (for Cupertino) prices. Friendly service and unique (hybrid - not traditional), comfortable seating. Standard menu and the food comes out fast. A tradition in Cupertino for Japanese dining.
I been going to this place since 90's and last year the original owners sold the business. One thing as changed, they no longer serving the nice salad dressing they hd before, actually I don't care for salad anymore. It is fine for lunch, It doesn't give me the full trust to order sushi. Regular Bento box and rolls are... More
After not coming for a meal here in a long while..we were more than delighted to enjoy an exceptional experience. The choices in what they offer surpass any other restaurant in the area. Service was excellent and the food could not have been more delicious. Just a pure delight in all areas....actually able to talk to guests without music so... More
Our family had a great dinner here. Different family members enjoyed the sushi, the teriyaki, the katsu, and the sukiyaki. As a vegan I enjoyed the edamame, seaweed salad and vegetable roll.
