The Wallace is a great spot in Culver City for some delicious California cuisine. It's got great ambiance, good service, and a fantastic selection for food + drink. It's a great place to go to with friends/peers or take parents from out of town. They...have a great space and the restaurant can accommodate a large group. There are indoor & outdoor choices in seating and a large bar. Just be warned that when the restaurant is busy, you may experience some hiccups or slower service. I've never experienced bad service but it has been slow when they're busy. Parking is a bit of a nightmare around this area, so just plan ahead.More

This place has a very unique menu. Not only does it have dishes that are delicious, and it also has some fun and unique drinks. You have to just go down the list on the menu and try as many items as you can. We...did that and enjoyed them all. The names of the alcohol drinks are funny, but the tastes are really good. Tried a few of those also. There is something here for every one. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. Have to go back to try some of the dishes we didn't get to order. Make sure you make reservations.More

Seven of us went here to celebrate my son's 33rd birthday. It was loud and lively on a Wednesday night, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our server Diego was great, guiding us through the menu and always being available. We tasted about 12...tapas dishes altogether and almost all were delicious (the fish collar and the pork belly were merely good). There is an extensive but not overwhelming wine list, as well as cocktails and beer. And for the birthday boy, they brought out three desserts to share, one with a candle. If you enjoy tapas and wine, this is the place!More

We just celebrated a much needed annual get together with old friends. The Wallace was such a great place to eat. A broad menu with good food for our vegetarian friend and meat for me. The ambiance is welcoming and friendly. Really a excellent place...to eat and visit.More

I had the most enjoyable evening with my wife & son when we had dinner at The Wallace last Saturday. My wife found this restaurant on Yelp & it was truly a great find. The food is served Tapas style, small plates that are designed...for 2 people to share. Branden was our server, but there was a woman (I didn't catch her name) that also served us. They were great, very knowledgeable, very friendly & gave us some really great recommendations. We started with drinks & these were all really good. Branden recommended the Flat Iron Steak, Pork Belly & the Striped Bass. All really good. We also had the Charred Cabbage, Corn Agnolotti & the Octopus. Everything was excellent. The flavors, presentation were truly memorable. Our woman server recommended the Raspberry Plum Cake for dessert & this was soooo good. If there is a problem with this restaurant it is the noise level, which is really high. You have to practically yell across the table to be heard. Also, I found some of the prices to be a little high. The Flat Iron Steak is $23.00 & the Pork Belly is $21.00. My wife & I are still talking about our dinner at The Wallace. I can't wait to go back.More

We had not been here for a while - I don't remember why, it is a good restaurant and we used to visit it somewhat regularly, The octopus dish was good with charred veggies but somewhat lacking octopus - which was probably sous vide as...it us succulent and tender, softshell crab was excellent but pricy, seaweed capellini were not capellini - more like udon but interesting, grilled peaches and raspberry plum cake were both excellent. The dishes are small so one can sample many of them - not as small as tapas though. My main irritation was that there was no wine under $47, next time - if I get over this I will see what the corkage is, and stop at TJ's.More
