Reminds me of being in the Old West! Hired all new people since Covid! The bartenders are super friendly & the service is fantastic! The Barbecue Ribs are to die for & so is the Shrimp Scampi which is off the charts! The Brisket is...fantastic if you are into that! Never had such amazing tacos as they serve on Taco Tuesday! Super cheap & delicious! Even have a pool table to play pool & have a jute box to choose your own music!More

You're not going to find better brisket than the ones that Ramon smokes right outside the bar. You're going to meet some characters, but they're friendly. Bartenders like Bindy make this place a MUST STOP if you're ever driving by Crestline, California.

We had a fun family dinner at The Stockade in Crestline, CA last week. The restaurant decor was interesting. The service was very good. The food selection was down home/comfort food and the bbq looks like one of the specialties (we did not have bbq)....I recommend a visit to The Stockade when you are in Crestline.More

This is a funky little place with old west charm. We had the ribs and brisket straight from the smoker with coleslaw and beans. Ribs were excellent but brisket a little dry. Service is always friendly and place is welcoming. We’ve had”taco Tuesday “there. Can’t...beat the price and good tacos too. EnjoyMore

I love the Stockade. My grandparents use to being me here. To me it is a time warp going here. Nothing has changed since the 70's. It a time warp. The food is good and the staff is super friendly with a rough mountain vibe....It's fun to go hang out with mountain people. The Stockade is worth checking out when in the SB Mountains.More

My adult kids loved Taco Tuesday. One had catfish and thought it was great. I had calamari which I ordinarily love, but it was breaded and deep fried tasting like fish sticks. Not so good. The atmosphere was old and dark cowboy. They need more...wait staff. Overall, in a months time, we only went once.More

I have lived in the area for over 20 years and been going here for the last 10. It seem to be actually getting better with age. Don't expect fancy, but do expect pretty good food. Very good calamari, when smoker is going, no better...anywhere. Taco Tuesday is best on the mountain, and soup is made DAILY.More

I saw the lunch specials sign so I had my wife pick up a few burgers for me and my crew at work one day. When she dropped off the food I saw the price on the receipt and it was much more than I...expected. I thought they didn't give us the special price, so I had my wife call and check. She said we were charged a take out fee, plus a charge for each to go box. That's just crazy, who charges a to go fee or even for to go boxes? The burgers weren't even good, basically what you would get at any hole in the wall burger joint down the hill for less money. They lost a local customer for life, I'm never going back.More

We visited the Stockade once when we moved up on the mountain years ago. For no special reason we had not returned for many years. Since our first return visit a few months ago we have enjoyed the Stockade several times. This last visit we...were with friends. My wife and I shared the BBQ/Smoked Rib dinner (full rack) and our friends had the Stockade burger and Egg Salad Sandwich. I cannot rave enough about the ribs. They are very tender, moist and fall off the bone. The flavor is terrific. The ribs come with two sides and vegetables. We ordered two salads (mine was extra as we were sharing the rib dinner) and a baked potato. The broccoli, cauliflower mix was seasoned well and cooked just as we like it, firm yet tender. Both of our salads were very good with cold, crisp lettuce and homemade croutons. The baked potato was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our server, Alice was very attentive and provided excellent service. She is willing to do whatever she can to try and meet any reasonable request. If you are looking for fantastic ribs, give the Stockade a try. They cook their ribs daily in the smoker out front.More

Ribs were very good, but brisket was VERY dry, not moist at all; BBQ sauce on top covered the brisket. Baked beans and coleslaw were good. AFTER we were all but done, not before we ate, waitress asked if we wanted a roll, saying they...weren't ready when the dinner was served. She should have mentioned they would be coming late when we received our dinner.More

Think of the Old West, and you're there. Time has failed to reach this quaint little village. High up in the San Bernardino Mountains. Once in town just in the middle, is a Pub that also has Grub. Quite popilar with the locals. Open seven...days a week 365 days a year. You can sit by yourself, or with a group family or otherwise. Enjoy a Good American Meal. Friendly and warm staff, will greet you. Just ask, they will share some of the towns history. Quite exciting.More

Awesome place! We were a little thrown off by the outside but were pleasantly surprised by the laid back, carefree inside. It was quiet by the time we sad down for a late lunch in the bar area. Kinda neat and divey interior with bills...covering the room and a tv playing sports in the corner. The service was casual and thankfully they were able to make some ribs for lunch even though they're only on the dinner menu! Their BBQ was phenomenal and their french fries delicious - try the cajun spice! Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely go out of my way to grab some bomb BBQ!More
