Came here a few weeks ago for some good old breakfast when I escaped to the mountains for a weekend with my boyfriend. It was a really really nice restaurant. Came early enough before the crowds. They had an amazing cherry French toast. They had...a good variety of syrups to choose from. The waitress was busy but super pleasant. The only bummer thing is that the credit card machine was down and had to walk to the atm right behind the building to pull out money. Overall very pleasant restaurant. Food came out hot and delicious. Would a hundred percent recommend to anyone especially if you are looking for a home style meal.More

After nagging my granddaughter about going out to breakfast, we decided to go to Crestline Cafe yesterday morning. We got there about 10:15, gave my name and was told that it would be a 15-20 minute wait. As we waited, time went by .... 20...minutes, half an hour, 45 minutes. I looked around and counted 6 tables where people were at waiting for their food. They had been sitting there before we walked in. Meanwhile, I noticed that the young lady who had taken my name seemed nonchalant about the fact that there were 5 empty tables and finally sat this couple that had been waiting when we walked in. The 6 tables where people were waiting for their food ....... still had not gotten their food. We left. The very first time I visited the Cafe was in 2015 - the food was great, service was a little slow, but it wasn't bad. We moved to Crestline in 2016. Two years ago, since I was home alone, I decided to treat myself to breakfast and went to the Cafe. New management had taken over and I was waited on by the manager, who was very nice. I ordered oatmeal and toast. My order came out in 10 or 15 minutes. I continued going to the Cafe and always got good service. I will not return to the Cafe. I was very disappointed!More

Food is delicious and service is great. I prefer the 3 egg scramble, steak, and salmon. Their sausage is the best.

Spent 100 but when I got home, we found the meals were missing their sides, the jam was missing, the utensils were missing and no napkins provided. I called, thinking they forgot to give me a bag, and explained all of this to the woman...who answered the phone. She said hold and I could hear her repeat everything I had said to another woman and then she says "you talk to her". The other woman came to the phone only saying hello. I said I k how I don't need to repeat myself because I heard the other woman explain what was wrong. All she says is "so you want corn?". Both of these women were so rude and clearly could care less my order was incomplete. With all of the restaurant choices here, my family will never eat here again.More

We have visited Crestline Cafe twice and have been impressed by their traditional cafe menu of soups, burgers, entrees. I can attest that their vegetable soup is that old fashioned, homemade style soup that is loaded with fresh vegetables and flavor. My husband likes their...chili and beans - the dish has a kick but is not too spicy. Their servings are ample! A simple, clean friendly place to have a bite of good food.More

This restaurant is the typical locals hang out right in the center of town. It has a large variety of dishes to choose from. Regardless of the breakfast or lunch you choose, expect to pay about $10 to $13 a plate. I can't comment on...dinner because I have never had dinner here.More

Busy place with nice selection of food choices. Terrible customer service unless you’re a regular. Small town feel but after a 10 minute wait to be seated, and 15 minutes to see a server, after I went to them, tepid soup, we may try breakfast....Treat everyone the same.More

We waited for 40 minutes just to place an order and waiters did not pay no attention to us. Food was not good quality, cheap microwave food. Money waist!!!!!

Now I ordered a take-out so not able to speak for the service. But when I called in the order they said 15min and it was ready when I got there. Now the food was very satisfying in many ways. My cheeseburger came with a...hefty but lean burger with plenty fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles surrounded by a higher quality of bun (sorry I don’t have the right description). Add the nicely crisp fries and I was happy. The wife and mother-in-Law had the loaded tuna melt on a thickly sliced sourdough. Again very satisfying. Maybe a little more toasting of the wonderful bread. Father-in-Law had the fish and chips which is his favorite. Nicely fried batter fish with wedge fries. All-in-all we were all very pleased with our choices and very full. Drive was reasonable for the quality. Oh I almost forgot. We also got 4 of their turnovers. Delicious finale! So when your up in the area here is the place to eat. Enjoy RoadBobMore

The Crestline Cafe appears to be popular with locals. Food is standard diner menu, but pretty good! And prices are reasonable. Service is just OK, but friendly. They seemed understaffed on my Saturday night group visit. I would recommend this as a good option, but...don't expect anything fancy. Just a good basic diner and hard to go wrong.More

On a recent overnight visit to Lakes Arrowhead and Gregory, we had breakfast at this great little diner in Crestline. The owner of the inn where we stayed highly recommended the Crestline Cafe and the stuffed French Toast. She was right on both suggestions! As...soon as we walked in, we realized that it appeared as if the locals love this restaurant. Our server was friendly and the food was yummy. I had a half order of the stuffed French Toast (not slices, but a little loaf), and it was plenty filling. My husband had a delicious Denver Omelette with ranch style potatoes. The coffee and orange juice were great, and the prices very reasonable! Highly recommended!More

So I’ve been here 4 times now and their food is fantastic and incredibly affordable if your a fan of biscuits and gravy you’ve hit the jackpot!!! I have never had to wait more that 5 minutes for a table...awesome! My food is usually served...within 10 minutes....and the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. I bought 4 of us breakfast the other day and it was only cost 26.00!!! Definitely will be back soon.More
