This is truly authentic Mexican food. Tiny place on Orange Avenue but the food is INCREDIBLE. The chef is right there in front of you cooking your order - portions are enough for 3 people. Be prepared to take home leftovers. Highly recommend the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos.

Hidden Gem...you know this place is good when you seem streams of locals coming in to eat and takeout. After a long day of beach, biking and sightseeing looking for something open late and not a fancy dress code. The Tuesday special are street tacos for $2..yummy best fish taco ever. The portions are nice and they serve breakfast all... More

Food here was just ok.. service was nice. My grilled cheese had shredded cheese in it that was not very melted. Not a good place for families as there is no seating except barstools and one picnic bench outside.

Nice and friendly place - try it. Good Mexican restaurant. We had breakfast here. The Mexican burritos is a good choice 😀.

My wife and I were staying down the street from this café and decided to try it for breakfast one morning. It is a small diner with big food. The coffee was very good strong but not bitter. My wife ordered 2 eggs over medium with bacon. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet. The eggs on my wife's order... More

This place for breakfast was good. We went twice! The service is good. The food is good. The place is small (about 25 people) and you get to know your neighbor at the bar. I think the price is worth it

Found this hole in a wall cafe during our visit to Coronado. Large portion sizes, food was delicious. Neat being able to watch the cook prepare your food in front of you.

We had a late breakfast there and it was excellent. We shared a California Omelet and French toast and both were very good. Very large portions. My only complaint is that the place was swelteringly hot. I am not sure how the employees stand it. We almost did not stay due to the heat. (it was not a particularly warm... More

While the food was good and the portions quite large, the online menu prices were lower than those we encountered at the restaurant. This was the highest priced meal of our entire five day stay in the SD area and we only went for breakfast! I chose this place based on customer reviews and was impressed with the young man... More
