First of all, they have this wonderful bartender named Derek. He makes good drinks. If he doesn't know one, he's willing to learn. Taught him how to make a good mint julep even though they don't have pewter or silver cups. Bonus points to him...More

Visiting San Diego for business, but took time to enjoy the island. Went paddle boarding and then stopped at Peohe's. The service was great. Sat outside in the warm Spring sun, with a great view of San Diego. The oysters and Bloody Mary's were excellent....More

Peohe's is our second favorite restaurant on the Coronado side of the bay. The interior of the establishment is very uniquely designed, but could be updated. Happy hour offers a decent menu (lots of fried finger-foods, not my favorite) with great drink prices. If you...More

We went on a Friday evening at about 6:30. We waited for a table (3 people) no longer than five or ten minutes and were seated at a booth with a beautiful view of the city. Our server seemed a bit off, was confused and...More

I can't really remember my food, other than the amazing calamari appetizer, though it was all pretty good. What I do remember is sitting outside at a sunny table with that in-your-face harbor view, and thinking Ahhhh....I could spend the whole afternoon here! Went with the...More

A pretty place for special occasions. I love looking across the bay to the downtown skyline. The crab and avocado appetizer is delicious and plenty for 2 or 3 people.
