Want an old time lunch of long hot dogs and a malt? My husband does, so we enjoy Scoop's Soups & More. The restaurant offers a bit of nostalgia topped off by wonderful Fresno State ice-cream. Yummy!

My daughter and I stopped by here after dinner a few weeks ago. Everything about this ice cream and sandwich shop screams "cheap." The restaurant feels very out of date and dingy.

I ordered the Java Chip made by Fresno State, it's creamy and delicious tasting. Almost everytime I go to the Farmer's Market on Fridays, I get it.

Visiting from ND, after checking out all the antique shops we stopped in for ice cream! This was great ice cream & some is made locally! It really is a small town shop, there were some 'regulars' inside and the staff was very kind to all.

Okay, this is the Fresno State Ice Cream shop that sells your old time favorite at friendly Mom and Pop family style. Sit in and see the old memorabilia from the past. Sit outside and just people watching at the Old Town Pollasky Avenue sight. Overall, just relaxing with friends to hang out.

Perfect stop on a typical hot Clovis afternoon. Once we finish strolling the shops of old town Clovis we visit Scoop's it has been a mainstay for me since I was little and still a delight to this day!

This is reminiscent of the malt and ice cream shops of days gone by. Great selection of ice cream and give you bigger scoops than most places. Reasonably priced too. There is sidewalk seating where you can enjoy Old Town Clovis. Well worth a visit for nostalgia.

Cute old fashioned ice cream parlor in the center of Old Town. Order at the counter and choose a table, two tables outside. We needed to eat at 3pm, when most places had stopped lunch and dinner hadn't started. Nice selection of items, from a baked potato (my choice), to sandwiches, soups, and salad. Inexpensive, quick, and good.
