Our group of work colleagues ordered a family style meal and it was fabulous. We had a choice between two salad types (we chose a Caesar) followed by two entrees (chicken/vegetable dish and pasta) and a plate of a variety of desserts--all for $25 per person. But this was not your typical Caesar, chicken, or pasta. Each was prepared with... More
We always enjoy the red tavern we almost always eat in the bar area. It is fun to have dialog with the bar tender and get better service, food is always very good and the wine section very well done We try to go twice a month. One of the owners is always there and some times both.good service good... More
Always eat here when in Chico. Awesome food, service and very nice people! Year or so ago, my wife ended up in the hospital in Chico from a bicycle accident, and they insisted on sending over a dessert on the house! Atmosphere is great inside, at the bar and on the patio. Had dinner during the holidays, and they were... More
This is a beautiful farm to fork fine dining experience...truly enjoyed one of the best meals and service EVER. Outstanding food and comfortable white tablecloth atmosphere with no pretentions....just delightful.
Creative food selections, warm and friendly staff, terrific owners on site every meal, make this dining experience a must-do if you are in town, or a local foodie. Locally sourced ingredients add to the excellent quality of their meals.
A little pricey and portions not very big, but the quality is top notch,. They use fresh, often local ingredients in a wonderful, tasty way. It's great fun to sit on their tree-shaded patio and play Bocce ball -- or just watch the fun.

The bistro/cafe is elegant but not stuffy, and on a Thursday night about 7 pm we found a table for 3 with no wait. Service was good, although the longest... More

It's in an unobtrusive block on the frontage street east off the Esplanade, but the store-front location belies a wonderfully intimate dining room and an expansive back yard that brings relaxed dining together with great landscaping and bocce ball. You will be hard pressed to match in any other restaurant in town the elegance, low noise, quick access to the... More
