We had a fabulous meal of both Sea Bass and Salmon. The great thing was our waiter helped to personalize each of our dinners to exactly what we wanted. We met the delightful owner who treated us to a special dessert and even made friends...More

We had a lovely dinner a the Flying Fish restaurant. It is a small but tastefully decorated interior. The staff was very personable, prompt and professional. We selected the Almond Crusted Sea Bass by the recommendation of our server and it was the best we...More

A definite must if in the area. The food and service are very good. In 2 we had 1 starter and the clay pot (a definite must just for the experience) 1 dessert, 1 water and a bottle of wine (about 150 USD).

As we ascended the stairs from the Carmel Plaza entrance we noticed the inviting "cellar" ambiance. This restaurant is cozy and quaint with beautiful woodwork... and most definitely it's quite popular. (Be sure to make a reservation a few days in advance!) They have many...More

I had the almond crusted seabass and it was delicious. We shared a dessert as the main course was a decent size. The manager (possibly the owner) checked everything was ok as well as our server. Good service.

I find every year at this quaint restaurant in Carmel plaza. It is below ground with wooden booths. It is a quiet place. Fish is always excellent. Service is warm. I like the cod.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Flying Fish during our visit to Carmel. The fish was excellent - prepared very well, not overcooked, with a bit of an Asian flare. The only downside is that the restaurant is in a basement, which is unfortunate since Carmel is...More

All of Carmel is super pet friendly but I don't think Flying Grill is. I could be wrong but the restaurant is pretty small and all enclosed.
