We enjoyed this. Close to the hotel. Good burgers. Good wine. Friendly staff. Fast service. Good value.

We don't come here often, but it was quite good and a lively spot. We enjoyed the fish and chips and "pub grub" are good. There is a nice selection of beers. The place is warm and friendly. Come to catch a game in a...More
There are not many bars in Carmel. After a few days, we were yearning for someplace to just pull up a barstool and chill out, chat up some strangers, and relax. This is it. We had already eaten dinner, so we did not try out...More

Brophy's Tavern 831/586-5566 (4th and San Carlos) Happy Hour is Monday to Friday 4 to 6pm, $1 off any beverage. This pricing is also available during prime time NFL games, Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Great pub menu

Cozy atmosphere, great televisions for watching games and terrific sound system that somehow manages to give great volume without being deafening. Nothing worse than a bar where you can not have a conversation, that won't happen here. Food is genuine cooking not typical bar food....More
We had just driven up from So Cal and were looking for a "relaxing, casual place with a bar". Thanks to the staff at Coachman's for recommending this! It is definitely a "local pub" as evidenced by the marked beer mugs hanging over the bar....More
