The caring and attentive staff were the icing on the cake that was a fantastic lunch!! I highly recommend the flights of margaritas. The prices are reasonable for what you receive. All of our meals were way more than we could eat in one sitting! Thanks for a great meal and great experience!

Asked a local where to go, they sent us here. It was very good. We really enjoyed the guacamole and ships. The portion was generous and the margaritas looked good. I wish we had went for dinner.

I have to make a point to visit Las Olas every trip to San Diego...it seems to embody all that is the Endless Summer of California....the sandy parking lot, the beach crowd, the sandy floors, the bolted down benches, the perfectly wonderful Mexican food and the setting sun, if you time it right!

We celebrated my husband's birthday while spending a week in Carlsbad. We were looking for great Mexican food by the beach and we found it! Made it in time for the lunch specials, which cannot be beat! Lots of food, great quality, fair price, and excellent service! Staff was friendly and welcoming! We had the Baja tacos, burrito, tacos, enchiladas,... More

Mehhhh nothing great. Only the location and ambience can mayyybbbeeee bring me back but highly unlikely . The food was blah. Happy hour doesn't really have special prices (fish taco $4; taquitos with guac $7). Skip this place.

This was recommended to us for breakfast from hotel staff. Breakfast menu was very small, was allright but wouldn't go back for breakfast, maybe for dinner.

Iconic beach-mexican joint. Margs, fish tacos, etc. Fun for all mostly families and casual diners. Cool scene with plenty of menu options. Food was very good. Servers were young and it took some waving to get their attention at times but overall a great spot to chill and soak up the SoCal.

Nothing to write home about. I had the Aztec tacos with a glass of 329 Lager which was light and refreshing. The tacos were a good size & filling.

We stopped in town at Carlsbad and glad we tried this place. Food was great. Cost wise about $13 a plate. Excellent sauces. Nicely decorated and clean. Good beach town vibe.

Thank John A
