Got take out from this place while visiting friends in Sonoma and it was fantastic. I admittedly have no idea what I ate because the crew ordered for me but I do know that I tried a bite of my friend Chile relleno ( I believe) and it had pomegranate along with the creamy sauce and it was to die... Love the food here and often get the handmade corn tortillas and guacamole to go. Enjoyed the chicken mole tamales my husband enjoyed the butternut squash enchiladas. The wine list is exceeded expectations. The Quivera Fig Tree Sauvignon Blanc was delicious. Highly recommend.

This place is very popular and can be quite busy. It is the best Mexican food around though. The only issue I have is that their chips are horrible, way too thick. Definitely recommend it for the best Mexican food in Sonoma.

We came here just as they were closing down for the night but they cooked it all up from scratch. Not a typical taco stand: they have several different options to choose from such as posole, beer-battered fish tacos, chicken enchiladas or mole. The portions are extremely generous and mouthwateringly good. Only 1 table on the inside to eat but... More

I'm a Mexican food snob and the food here is outstanding! Don't expect the typical Mex-Amer hard shell tacos, bland enchiladas and lukewarm rice and beans you get in so many places. The Naiman Ranch pork pastor tacos (Los Arabes) were incredibly tender and the flavors out of this world. Soft flour tortillas wrapped around gooey deliciousness. The roasted butternut... More

I was looking for a quick Mexican lunch and El Molino Central came highly recommended by several locals working in winery tasting rooms. If wine lovers are generally foodies, I figured it was a safe bet. I took one look at the menu and was blown away. Niman Ranch Pork Pastor! What taqueria tells you their pork was raised on... More

I finally got to go El Molino without waiting in line out the door. This place is very good. It's up there with San Diego's Mexican food. Their Posole really made my day. It's is well worth $14. The Bay Area is expensive so I'm not suprised El Molino charges these prices. At least the good is legit!

We called ahead for take-out estimated to be ready in 15 min. They were wrapping it as we arrived and it was steaming hot. The chips are thick, fresh, and crunchy. Guacamole was creamy and mild which complimented the spicy salsa. The steak tacos and pork tamales were authentic and the spice was just right. The pasole soup was a... More

I don't care about the wait or that anyone speaks English. I was here for lunch (not conversation) for the first time and had my socks blown off. I have never had such fresh, inspiring Mexican Food in all of my life. My son and I enjoyed Fish Tacos, Mole Chicken Tamales and Chile Relleno. Additionally, I was impressed with... More

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant and while the food was fantastic...we definitely paid more for a meal here than a typical mexican food restaurant! I'd still recommend it though.
