Great food and service. Chowder was great and steak was cooked just right. Linguine and clams was fantastic and desert was great even though it was to go. We will definitely return.

Lucas Wharf has been in business for decades in the fishing village of Bodega Bay. The food has always been on the mediocre side, but reviews have somehow been good lately, so one night recently we gave it a try. It's still mediocre. The fish smelled fishy, the accompanying fries were limp, and the service was pretty slapdash. This place... More

We didn't have a reservation but only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. There are huge windows looking out at the harbor and it must be spectacular at sunset. The dining room has very high ceilings so it is quite noisy. The service was quick and the food was good. Did have to wait a bit to get the... More

Took the safe option with the fish and chips. Was excellent. Not Greasy cooked well chips nice and crispy. Maybe advisable to book for weekends or public holidays, gets really busy. We never booked but only had to wait 20 minutes which was acceptable.

2nd trip to Bodega Bay and 2nd trip to this restaurant. Location is excellent. Huge windows to look out and see the Bay and the docked boats that could have actually caught the seafood you ordered. The service was great and the food was served hot and tasty. We ordered the Salmon Fish and chips and fish tacos. Both were... More

Lucas was first rate from top to bottom. Boston Clam chowder was exceptional Attentive service and well balanced wine list. Extensive menu so there is something for even the most picky eater. We'll go back.

Took a drive with my spouse and stopped here for lunch. Ate at the bar and had the chowder (good) and the calamari (excellent). Bartender was great, got our good and drinks quickly, only criticism is it took a little longer than it should have to get the check. Would I return? Yes.

Great place, ate dinner there. Fish and chips was very tasty and accommodated dietary needs. They had a pretty extensive kids menu as well. Fun for all in the family. Right on the bay so great view of boats and marina.

Lovely view. Had a leisurely late afternoon lunch on a rainy day. Enjoyed the clam chowder. Waitress was friendly and helpful with some directions for our travel plans for after lunch. (You don't have to be at that corner table for the view. The restaurant is lined with windows:)

My husband and I are spending the night in Bodega Bay, and decided to give this restaurant a try. We are so happy we did. The service was excellent..... Efficient and friendly. Our food was excellent. We loved the clam chowder and crab cakes. The fish stew was incredible and enough for at least two people. Try to come at... More

Great food, friendly service and spectacular views await you at Lucas Wharf Restaurant in Bodega Bay. We are a waterfront seafood restaurant on the beautiful Sonoma Coast, about 1-1/2 hours north of San Francisco and just minutes away from the wine country. We have a cozy lounge with a fireplace and a patio for outside dining. From your dinner table you might see the local fishermen unloading their catch on our dock while sea lions play in the water below and pelicans sail by overhead. We offer a large selection of seafood choices, plus steaks, pastas and vegetarian options. We have several unique signature dishes (calamari!) And delicious, seasonal dinner specials. We have a full bar and proudly feature premium Sonoma County wines and local draft beers. So, for either a romantic sunset dinner, a quick bite on your way through town or after a lazy day at the beach with the kids, visit Lucas Wharf Restaurant, family owned and operated since 1984.
