Stopped off for a drink (beer and wine) and something light to carry us over until dinner. Was able to get a good glass of wine, beer and tasty shrimp cocktail. Loved how they loaded the cup up with shrimp, avocado, tomato and tasty cocktail sauce. Next time we'll try their oysters (wonderful variety) and Dungeness crab cocktail.

This is a simple, yet comfortable place to have a quick bite if you don't want a formal restaurant setting and would rather use your time exploring Bodega Head (a couple of miles down the road). You order at the counter and have a seat at one of the 5 or 6 tables inside or 2-3 outside. We had the... More

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon while driving done the coast highway. Started with a cup of the clam chowder (New England style) which was very good and then had some beer battered fried oysters. These were very tasty, made with very fresh oysters and fried up perfectly (if very, very hot!). These came with a... More

Who knew grilled oysters could be so yummy! A great place for a solo, quick snack. Service is slow due to overwhelming crowds, so be prepared. Well worth it though.

I ordered a crab sandwich and bit into it cutting my gum from a dime size piece of shell. That's just careless preparation. When I showed them they should have refunded my lunch. I would have given this a terrible rating except my husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich.

Thanks Trip Advisors for this place! We were driving through town and wanted a good place for lunch. Very unassuming place that also serves as a tackle shop. So well hidden, our GPS almost gave up (cell service in this area was tricky). Anyway, we walked in to find a super friendly staff, several beverage options and a great menu... More

This is a tackle shop for commercial and recreational fishermen. They serve up pretty good food too. The oysters are always fresh, but may take a while. I always order the tri tip sandwich. Filling and a good price. I've also had the Grilled Shrimp sandwich which I also recommend. They don't let you bring any food in from other... More

Came here not expecting too much. Got 2 32oz chowders and their Beer Battered fish and chips. Wow! That's among the best seafood I've had ever (and I eat a lot of it) Came half an hour before the 5pm closing time and the staff were happy to serve us and were extremely friendly. As we arrived in Bodega Bay, the line out the door of the local tackle shop let us know we were at the right place, but our hungry bellies were not convinced that the wait would be worth it...but it was. A passionate consumer of oysters, especially those from the Chesapeake Bay, my husband was completely enchanted by the grilled... More

We serve them on the half shell or barbecued with your choice of six different house specialty sauces such as garlic butter sauce, cocktail sauce, chorizo butter with a hint of lemon and more. Try our unique oysters with pesto sauce and applewood bacon, or opt for our oysters Kilpatrick or Sweet Heaters with pickled jalepeno, shallots and raw mignonette.
