Have tried various Indian Restaurants in the Mt Lawley/Inglewood/Highgate Area and whilst many have been good, this was definitely the best. Went as a group of seven friends and all enjoyed the various dishes which were too many to list. Service was good as well and we will definitely be back. Situated in mainly the house section of what was... More

Had the lamb korma and butter chicken here both of which were great although the lamb korma really impressed me. Also can recommend the garlic naan. Nice lighting effects at night with soft lights off the wooden floors. My only complaint was I felt it was a tad pricey but I'll be back although just less due price :)

Probably the best quality meat I have eaten in a curry. We shared butter chicken, chicken jalfrezi, lamb Rohan josh and beef vindaloo. All fantastic served in a small house turned into restaurant. BYO for $3 corkage. Very good service. Also very busy with takeaway. We will be back.

Always satisfied at the JGI. The dishes I've tried were tasty, generous in size and available for take-away if you can't finish. I often share a chicken tikka masala and garlic nam with my partner as a take away because we are fortunate to live very close.

Average at best must be different people running the place. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night which is unusual. Food average

Set in a old style house, good clean and the food is great, there is a wide variety of dishes but street parking can be difficult at times.

One of the best Indian Restaurant. Would recommend to anyone.😊 Went there with a group of people and we had our Private room which set up in a perfectly way with all the candles around. A very cozy place.

WE did not last long enough to test the quality of the food. A wait-person fleetingly showed some interest, promised water, then disappeared, not to be seen again. The restaurant was unbearably hot (it had been a very warm day) the air conditioner was fitted but not switched on. We retired after ten fruitless, waterless, waterless minutes. Possibly good for... The food here is very good, the service is great, location suits us to a T and the quantities are substantial. When you buy a banquet you will be horrified by the capacity of your tiny digestive system relative to the oferings on your table. You will be defeated. They win.

I have visited this place multiple times with friends and family, and each time it is highly enjoyable. The food is always fresh and full of flavour. The setting is very nice and subtle. Highly recommend this cosy little place
