Stopped by this unique spot to try a few of the brews. Atmosphere was rustic and our waitress was super friendly. Good beers - did not try the food, but what others had looked/smelled good!

We had lunch here after the Alpine Slide. Great bar food. We had a burger, chicken strips and the appitizer combo plate. The place was super busy and workers were great!
We stopped in on a Friday afternoon, just passing through town. It ended up being just what I was hoping. The staff was warm and attentive. The bar is, well, quaint. It's small, lots of wood, and lots of bar signs. There was a guy playing acoustic guitar and singing some classic rock (60s). I loved it.

What does an Aussie do when the recommended pie and cupcake places in Big Bear are closed? He zooms in on the closest pub! We'd noticed this place on our way in, so called in on our way out. It's a really cool and funky pub, no airs and graces, just a few tables, a couple of lounge chairs and... More
This little place serves up some pretty decent beer and passable pub food. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and they had some live music too. Sports on the TV in the corner. Happy staff. A pleasant little joint.
Pros - Great local beer - Cool looking bar inside Cons -Absolutely the worst service One server - brown haired girl - was just shy of openly hostile in dealing with patrons. We were sitting on the patio and ignored completely after asking for help a few times. And not just us, the table next to us was having a... More
We went with our extended family of 10 people and had great friendly service. The food was very good with HUGE portions. The beer was also excellent. It was so good that we went twice.
In all honesty, the only reason that we went here was to buy a Pint glass that said Big Bear. I liked their logo better than the other brewery in the village. After hiking a little on the PCT, we were hungry, so we decided that it would be a reasonable to have lunch there. We both ordered flights, which... More
