I really love Vera good fresh sushi but it's hard to find! Boss is that sushi and it doesn't break the bank either. Always fresh with amazing flavor and a relaxed easy atmosphere! Great happy hour from 6-8 too!

Best sushi I've had in years! The spicy tuna roll melted in my mouth like butter. Side Note: there is parking available in the lot directly behind the restaurant. Signs are posted that say you need to pay parking attendant, but if you go into restaurant and let them know they will give you a designated free space to park.

Everything was incredible. Some of the best non-pretentious sushi in Los Angles. Definitely get the sashimi platter done 4-ways. It's a special not on the menu and tell them chef's choice. You won't regret it.

When you step in the door to such a bustling place, you would think it would be fun, well organized and delicious food. This is misleading. The staff is rude, the sushi ( have tried to eat here many times because we live nearby), is absolutely mediocre at best, and so not worth the adventure of traffic up La Cienaga.... More

Nice spot, though I expected more for a Beverly Hills sushi restaurant. The staff was not so attentive, the food was ok, but not great. The price a bit high for the quality of the food.

This is a low key restaurant with an excellent sushi chef, Chef Tom. I have now been here for both lunch and dinner. Lunch is very reasonably priced with specials between $9 and $15. The lunches come with various kinds of sushi, soup plus salad. The sushi, sashimi and special rolls are all delicious. Dinner is more crowded than lunch... More

Chef Tom is AMAZING!! Service was great and super friendly. The sushi is absolutely delicious and done in such a creative way. Another reviewer mentioned "Nobu without the attitude or expense" and I completely agree. Nobu is delicious and in my opinion Boss is just as good. Different styles, but equally as good. Very casual place and reasonably priced. Recommend... More

I was introduced to Boss on my first double date with my now wife and her friends five years ago. Her friends raved about Boss and were regulars. Recently our friends admitted they had not been there in years. We decided to return anyway. I think the problem is that, like our friends, the market has moved on and Boss... More

You'll never go wrong at Boss. Tom is amazing. Try his sashimi platter, Nate blondes roll, and yellowtail sashimi salad!

My friend and I were in town for business and a colleague recommended this place to us. When we arrived, I must say that the exterior of the place was a little off putting and the name is a little silly. But I'm not one to judge by appearances. We ended up ordering the Midnight roll, the Nate Blonde roll,... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
