This restaurant was a throw back to the times of Frank Sinatra and Ronald Reagan and it is apparent in the decor, low lighting, and leather booths. The food was excellent, especially the Veal Parmigiana and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Our family enjoyed the meals, the wine, and overall I felt the pricing was affordable for the quality and location.

I loved the sidecar cocktail I ordered, the arancini were among the best I've ever had, and the service was simply perfect.

My daughter and I had dinner there this past Friday. This place was a very pleasant surprise. It's a quaint restaurant with an old Hollywood feel. The veal and the homemade pasta were excellent. The service was exemplary. Thank you to the staff for treating my 14 year old daughter and I to a wonderful dinner experience!

Stopped by because we were tired on arrival and it was close to the hotel. Nothing wrong, other than being over priced, but more like a big city Italian restaurant than California. Won't go back.

For nostalgia reasons we returned to this restaurant after a long hiatus. The restaurant is still small, intimate and welcoming. The scampi appetizer is how we remembered it. Our second course was a risotto and it was so salty, it was inedible. The risotto was not cooked properly so that the rice was loose. I ordered a pasta which was... More

This was the fourth year I have gathered with a half dozen former work colleagues. Each time we have unanimously selected La Dolce Vita. Next year we will be back!

My husband and I took my mom here for dinner, and it was fabulous! Great service and food. We ordered the scampi and mozzarella marinara as appetizers. For dinner, my mom had the rib eye, my husband has chicken parmasagna, and I had penne marinara with buffalo mozzarella. Each of entrees was very good. We will definitely be back.

Dimly lit interior, proper old fashioned booths, great classic menu, good wine list and friendly service! Why are restaurants not like this anymore?!

I loved this restaurant! It's small and intimate and conjures up a fantasy of what it would have been like to dine with the stars. Each booth has a plaque over it with a famous stars name. We were sitting next to Frank Sinatra, and across from The Reagans and George Raft. The service is excellent and the food was... More

I have two ways of looking at my experience here. Service and setting - 5 Stars - both were top notch I felt. The staff was extremely polite, courteous and attentive and made you feel at home. The setting couldn't have been better as you lounge away in the very booth that Frank and Dino frenquented many moons prior in... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
