Yummy breakfasts. Menu variety aims to please. Good for the whole family. Charming Berkeley vibe near the Claremont Hotel.

Some unwelcome unfriendly issues initially plus so called "misunderstanding". The particular server seemed not to be paying attention. A busy place whose breakfast food was excellent and even service improved with manager intervention
We sat at the community table. Easy to chat with one another over a fine meal (breakfast food for lunch along with mac & cheese!). Excellent server with good food recommendations.Any of
We were happy to revisit. The hostess attempted to seat us in a Siberian table, but we objected. We both ordered the Emily's egg plate which was satisfying. Prices are a wee high, but quick to forgive. We will return.
Good pancakes and standard eggs and sausages/bacon stuff. Good bakery. However, tends to be crowded and hard on parking. Yes, coffee is good. Noisy , well, because it's good and lots of customers. Try Fournee bakery next door, expensive but heavenly.

We have had breakfast at Rick and Ann's on at least a dozen occasions and there is no better place, no better breakfast in Berkeley. Located right across the street from the Claremont Hotel, it's a bit removed from the UC campus and downtown but...More
