Out shopping on a wet, cold winter day. My wife saw the sign for Leila’s and we had to somewhat circuitously circle back. Limited on street parking and a small adjacent lot, but we found parking and went inside. This is a bakery/ cafe offering...More
This was our first visit but not our last. Enjoyed the food, casual atmosphere, and friendly service. A group called the Sundodgers consisted of six very talented people playing various stringed instruments and providing perfect vocals with the style music they played. Mostly from the...More
Taking a lunch break from visiting a hospital patient, we didn't have to wait to order from the pleasant folks at the register. Primarily a lunch spot. Cafe Leila was described as a local Berkeley favorite, and it's clear why this is so. Big, fresh...More
Just down street from Acme Bread and Kermit Lynch. Good parking and great outside patio. We had a chicken wrap and it was large and tasty with a peach smoothie. Order and pay and it’s delivered to your table in prompt order. Try outside on...More

Cafe Leila is a cute little restaurant with a backyard garden. The Lamb & Goat Cheese burger is out of this world. A variety of lovely smoothies and exotic teas compliment their yummy dishes. My favorite is the Pu-Erh Ginger tea.
Great place for breakfast or lunch in Berkeley. Good menu with salads, sandwiches and wraps. They have a nice patio in the back with lots of plants and tables to eat. Great place when the weather permits.
