Trattoria Corso is a romantic little spot near the "Gourmet Ghetto" in Berkeley. An intimate, classy Italian place you shouldn't miss. We gave it a try, and we'll be back. We shared the Zuppa (an excellent Italian take on gazpacho) and the Spiedo Di Pettini...More

We really enjoyed our meal here. The portions were just right - not overpowerlingly huge - and the food was very nicely made. The duck ravioli and beef parpadelle were both excellent. There was also a good range of wines by the glass or carafe....More

In a city of 40,000 students, this is a restaurant for grown-ups. Nice, quiet setting, good service, very good food: we had the duck livers, veggie lasagna, and leg of lamb special. If we move to Berkeley permanently, this would be our favorite regular restaurant.

We had a great meal here -the charcuterie was fabulous - the branzino was lovely --the side dish of beans was only ok -didnt realize they would come in the pods - also enjoyed the cannelloni stuffed with eggplant and mushrooms. we will be back

Loved my grilled branzino (served whole) at my last visit. Very mild and flaky and not overly cooked. On prior visits the pastas and butter roasted chicken have been excellent. Do not miss the plolenta or the flourless chocolate cake. Many of the dishes change...More

You can't do better than Corso. Everything--from the warm olives to the buttered chicken--is scrumptious. We have never had anything that wasn't delectable. On top of that, the atmosphere at this small trattoria is busy and charming. If you can't get a table, which is...More

My wife and I went to Corso the first night and were blown away. We immediately booked a reservation the next night and were more blown away. We had the pasta dishes the first night and chose the butter chicken and the ricotta wedges the...More

My husband and I came to Corso for our wedding anniversary celebration, and we had an excellent experience. The food was truly delicious, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was just right for an intimate dinner for two. The restaurant even treated us...More

Some reviewers said the portions were small, but we found them just right (Americans tend to overeat!). Great appetizers and pasta dishes. Friendly, helpful server who knew his wines!
