Fabulous steaks and excellent service. Friendly staff who might just be the hardest working wait staff ever!

Excellent service, well prepared food, but a little cramped. Live entertainment that took requests, and some spontaneous sing along. Bar crowd appear to be regulars and jovial. Will eat/drink there again
Stopped in after the "guy show" and tried items I would not have regularly tried (I usually just stick to steak) had the lobster mac, but honestly, it was just 'eh'. I would totally stick to what the 'steakhouse' does best -- steak. It's always so amazing and I so try to go when they have prime rib because it... More
Heard of this on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Traveling through Bakersfield and chose to go here to see how great the steaks really were. Great great cozy and warm with a fireplace and welcoming cocktail lounge with a long bar and dark and welcoming restaurant...Everyone said hello when we walked in, sit at the bar? or do you want a... I loved this steakhouse. My first visit will not be my last. Outstanding service, everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs. I had a great ribeye steak, and my friend really enjoyed the Halibut. Good drinks, not too strong, and not weak. It is old school interior and we loved it. Thank you Shelly for your great service.
Prime rib was cold and vegetables over cooked. For the price the plate was not appealing and food seemed to be just thrown on the plate. Service was just that, service and waitresses short skirts with low clevage had a lot to say I did not see any male waitresses or servers. Decor is out dated and old i felt... More
Parking is on the street and you might have to walk. Once you're in the decor is very old and out dated. The place was full so we had to wait at the bar. Live music was too slow but well executed by the two members. Waitress staff in their short skirts and low cleavage, took us to our table.... More
we stopped by after reading guy fiere had been there and recommended it. well........lobster mac and cheese? it was awesome, very rich, the three of us ordered steaks and shared the lobster, it was so good. I had a steak salad, very nice salad with a full strip steak broiled perfectly and sliced on top, I was very satisfied. the... More
Place has a retro 70's vibe with a fireplace in the middle of the dinning room which was interesting. I thought the food was a little pricey for so-so steaks and but portions were generous. Mashed potatoes were good. It was the first time I tried this place and I don't think I'll go back to pay that much for... More
Went to KC after seeing Guy Fiere do his triple D show here. It was a Saturday night and they had a live band come in at 9:00. Great atmosphere although the room was a bit loud even when the band was on break. I had to try the lobster Mac n' cheese from the show. The waitress pointed out... More
