About
The Pink Beach Club begins the day serving breakfast with views of the sun rising over the Atlantic. Later in the day, leisurely lunches stretch into dinner and drinks under the stars. While its open-air setting may be laid-back and its signature dishes, burgers and crab cakes, perfectly complement a day spent by the sea or poolside, the kitchen never strays from the core culinary mission of utilizing only the best and freshest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. The ahi tuna in the poke bowls comes straight from the waters off of Bermuda while the newly plucked mushrooms in the ravioli were grown on farms nearby.

Let’s get the one slight downside out of the way. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bill for $160 for brunch for two, with only one drink each. Well, it is Bermuda. Having said that I must say that the food was excellent. We both had the Shashuka (two poached eggs with tomato, onion, peppers and naan bread) as a starter and it was delicious. For the main we had the chicken pot pie and the ahi tuna and both, again, were superb. We had to take the desserts to go as we just couldn’t eat any more. Add this to the setting right on top of the sea and you have a very memorable experience.

We celebrated my sister's bachelorette here. I posted this review under the main hotel but want to post again here as it's specific to the restaurant.
Gihan (Jay) and his team made our night extra special by arranging a cute dessert plate that had a variety of items and "happy bachelorette" written in chocolate. We felt the staff was very attentive to us, and helped make the night festive. Thanks to everyone's efforts, we were able to still have a fabulous time despite the strain of COVID.
Also, shoutout to the bartender for making awesome margaritas.

We moved into a private residence next to The Loren, with which we share a beach, so we decided to stop by and try the their outdoor dining option. It was a first day in Bermuda and we were simply blown away by the view. The restaurant is entirely shaded, so you are not too hot, yet you are outdoors. In the middle of August this is quite a trick, but The Pink Beach Club pulled it off effortlessly. We only had pizza and a beer, but enjoyed both immensely. The pizza was fairly large - so much so that the two of us couldn’t finish it. I’m embarrassed to say that we gulped it down the following morning for breakfast!! Their covid-related procedures were careful yet unintrusive. Like most restaurants we’ve been to so far in Bermuda, it isn’t cheap. BUT that view is priceless and hard to beat.
They had an easily accessed online menu, so that we weren’t handling the same menu some stranger hand just handled. We will definitely return to dine there again. Can’t wait!

My experience here was a let down, I have to say. I had ordered one thing, and they brought out something that was different enough that I didn’t notice until it was too late, but cost a noticeable amount more. I didn’t bother trying to get what I originally ordered, though they said I could have it in addition (?) to what I’d been mistakenly given. At payment time, they gave me the right bill, but then charged me an amount for another table. And despite trying to rectify it immediately, a call with my bank confirmed that the wrong amount was indeed charged - about twice as much as my own meal. To top it off, on my way out I was told by a staff member that they were surprised that I am a local and that I don’t “sound like I’m from here”. The views are good and the food was fine, hence two stars, but I’m disappointed and will not be in a hurry back.

Had to constantly ask for water and wine refills even though the restaurant was empty. Staff are uneducated on the menu and don’t know how to answer simple questions like whether saying the zucchini pappardelle wasn’t gluten free and made with wheat pasta when in actuality it was zucchini noodles. All dishes were extremely small and not even that impressive considering the steeper price range. They also mixed up the birthday cakes serving the wrong cake with a different name written on the top. Did indeed make quite a hilarious end to the evening!

My wife and I read the brunch menu online and knew we had to try it. It's a $55 3-course meal with at least a half dozen choice per course. It sounded scrumptious. We planned to have brunch there and then visit St. George's in the afternoon. We made reservations via telephone the week prior. When we arrived we were sorely disappointed that the regular brunch menu was not offered. It was replaced by a special menu created by a hotshot visiting chef from New York. We would not have chosen any of the choices in any of the courses. In addition, the restaurant "created" 4 complimentary cocktails, one per guest. My choice was barely drinkable while my wife's was vile. To make matters worse, unbeknownst to us, the price for this unwanted brunch was $70 per person. The price was not on the menu. Had we known we certainly would have ordered from the lunch menu.
Bottom line: I complained to the manager that we should have been informed that the regular brunch menu was not going to be offered when we made the reservation. Secondly, I complained that $70 for a brunch that we never would have ordered was outrageous. We were really looking forward to this experience and the only thing that made it worthwhile was the setting.

Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though only half the tables were full. We were there for 3.5 hours for dinner in total. There was about a 1 hour wait in between appetizers and the entree, even though the restaurant was not full. We were so excited to attend the South of France Tuesday night after the same group had travelled there 2 years ago. Only when we arrived, there was a last minute unannounced change to Indian, and the Indian was not great....... Had to constantly flag the waitress for water and drinks. It was a hot August night and there are no fans or breeze, so 3.5 hours felt like a century. And it was expensive!

Great location with a service to forget. The lady who seated us was close to be rude and the waiter was clearly not on his best day. The bad thing was that the burger was also overcooked. So unfortunately an experience to forget as fast as possible.

My family and I dined at The Pink Beach Club last week during our vacation in Bermuda and it was absolutely fabulous. First of all, the management staff went above and beyond to get us an outdoor table by the ocean (although, all tables are lovely as the restaurant offers all open air dining). Once seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Fortune, who is an absolute gem of a guy. The drinks were delicious, the appetizers were incredible (the lobster spring rolls, dragon roll and Carolina fried shrimp are a must) and our meals were amazing. Entree standouts were shrimp and scallop ravioli, sourdough crusted rockfish, and the most incredible filet mignon served with poached Maine lobster. Desserts were equally as delicious. This restaurant is a must try and has become our favorite restaurant in Bermuda.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) did not originally intend to have lunch at the Loren Hotel. We'd just finished a tour of the Crystal Cave, (I have another review on that experience) and planned on going to The Swizzle Inn Pub & Restaurant, since it was close by and had "ok" reviews. But on the taxi ride over from our hotel the driver had informed us The Swizzle Inn was closed for the day due to staffing shortages. So right after our cave tour ended I got my phone out and did a quick search of the general area. The best rated places were the restaurants at The Loren. (We were miserable at that moment because the cave tour had been stifling. After the long, up hill walk to exit the cave things got worse. July in Bermuda means withering humidity, causing an air temp of 83º to feel astonishingly, unbearably hot.)
We got into one of several waiting taxis and asked to go to the Loren. On the way I phoned and made a lunch reservation for what I *thought* was an indoor, high-end French restaurant (Marée Lounge.) Honestly we just wanted effective climate control far more than food at that point. When we arrived we were directed to walk down a spiral staircase to reach an area two levels below. This staircase took us to The Pink Beach Club, which is entirely not French nor indoors. These turned out to be a non issues. It was a beautiful setting, nicely shaded and situated on platform against the rocky cliff, elevated right on top of the open, wave-tossed ocean. The view was gorgeous and the breeze was fairly strong, but we welcomed it. Not only did it cool us off immediately, it kept the flies away. (We had already endured many open-air dining experiences that required us to constantly swat away the small army of flies that would descend as soon as the food arrived at the table. Dining in even a gale force wind is preferable to those damned flies.) I also noticed there were fewer of those *charming* (◔_◔) little brown sparrows flying in & hopping about underfoot, hoping for a crumb to fall. There were several other tables of guests, but the restaurant was not crowded. Spacing between tables was generous.
I ordered the gazpacho and seared yellowfin tuna (both appetizers) as my meal. Both were excellent. One of my kids had the Pretzel Club Turkey sandwich, another had the Loren Burger. As I'm typing I can't recall what my husband ordered ... but everyone was quite happy with their choices and also very happy to be there in this cool oasis of serenity and beauty. The service was excellent and the staff accommodating. Like every other meal we had in Bermuda the cost for the four of us was over $200. If you order alcoholic beverages with your meals, which my husband and I always did during our vacation on this small island remotely located in the middle of the Atlantic, it's just the way it is.

The pink beach club has the most amazing location next to the ocean, the hotel has a miami vibe, very relaxed and contemporary but comfortable furnishings, the restaurant is open to the elements and has a great varied menu, all the food we had over our few days stay was delicious and well presented , great seafood and sometimes there are more themed food nights, but we stayed with the main menu . the staff too are all genuinely lovely and accommodating. Just make sure you go into The Maree cocktail bar inside the hotel too , where Kenny makes some of the best cocktails on The Island!

First time at The Loren for dinner. We did the Two Rocks Wine dinner with a group of friends. Pleasantly surprise with the food quality. I guess when you have no expectation and the meal came out better than you thought in terms of presentation and taste, you would be happy and excited with the experience. The menu was Tapas family style....abundance of food and very tasty. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Thank you and a job well done.

Gave it a second chance - still bad. Years after opening, the service is still terrible. Waitstaff have not been trained or simply don’t care. Food is pricey for what you get. Lobster springroll didn’t seem to have any lobster in them. Entrees were good, but we were served the wrong ones at first! Struggled to find something on the menu - they are trying too hard to be unique, but fail in the execution.

We loved dining at this beautiful restaurant. The views were incredible! Service was a little slow, but the meals were delicious and pretty reasonable considering how expensive Bermuda is for dining. Try to reserve a table on the water. We had to sit inside more but still had a good view.

My family had dinner at The Loren Hotel, Pink Beach Club to celebrate my nephews 18th Birthday. Not only was the atmosphere beautiful and relaxed, the Wait Staff was amazing, friendly and upbeat. The food was amazing, Chef Lawrence is the best. I would highly recommend the Rack of Lamb which was done to perfection and the Snapper that my Niece was raving about from the first bite. This was a magical night and the Pink Beach Club came through in assisting with making it memorable. A MUST DINE.
