The service and food were superb. The dining hall is steeped in history, and the servers make you feel entirely at home. Call ahead to make reservations. It is well worth the effort to plan a dinner stop here!

Thank you so much :) After the previous review it was really nice to get your review of our dining room which is much more typical of what we usually hear! Thanks again.

Great service, location of the restaurant in the resort does not provide any views. Food is like home cooking if your mother wasn't a great cook. If your nearby and looking for a meal it is probably the best in the neighbourhood but i wouldn't...More

Had a wonderful 3 course lunch in the diningroom. Cosy setting to watch the storm that pounded down outside. After lunch we hung out in their lounge and had tea and ate our dessert. What a wonderfully charming setting!

We waited 1/2 hour, even with the reservation, but it was worth it. We spent the time walking around a bit, taking some pictures, then going into the "lounge" where there are many comfy chairs, games, books, coffee, tea and delicious shortbread cookies. The area...More

We were shocked at the quality of the restaurant. Options for everyone even the vegetarians. Huge portions and beautiful desserts. The staff didn't seem fazed by our huge group of 23 at every meal. Picnic lunch option was perfect. Thank you!

We were here 15 years ago and had to come back and reminisce. Just like we remembered! Don't look at the price...bring an expensive bottle of wine with you and enjoy the experience.

A lot of thought and effort has gone into the menu choices and the ingredient selection. The portion size is very generous and the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. They are very conscientious and accommodating where food allergies are concerned. We ate three meals...More

The service is amazing; and the food is out of this world. If you're looking for that special place - this is the place. We celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary, we will be back!

We enjoyed our meals here over our two day stay. Having said that all things were not equal. I do not like what they do with cooked vegetables and my steak was not great; however, my complaints stop there. The presentation is effective and the...More

Thank you for all your compliments :) And yes guests do rave about the Grilled Cheese ... it's yummy but very filling. We do wish that you'd said something about your steak at the time ...we would have happily cooked you another one!
