I drive a bus through the park several times during tourist season.Since it is the only eating place between the East and West gates I stop regularly there for a meal.Sometimes breakfast sometimes lunch.I have always been happy with the service and the food.I did a run last August.I stopped there for breakfast with another bus driver. Always a treat to visit. The gift shop has a good selection of items campers might need. Meals are available and my favourite reason to go is the ice cream counter.

We came back in October and got the same great burgers we had in the summer! They stayed open after the other places closed down for the season. Excellent food! MMM! (That's why there's a line up dummy) Excellent friendly service! (That's why we don't mind the wait) Great prices for Algonquin Park area. We'll be back next year!

A great place place, for a quick bite or ice cream treat, while camping at MewLake. Good quality foods, excellent service, with grocery goods next store. An all in one shop stop with Algonqin flare. Well done Jerry and Staff.

There is two parts of quality to the food. The stuff cooked on site by the friendly staff are great and reasonably priced. Someone in HQ has decided that certain things such as the sausages and potatoes for example will be pre-cooked and warmed to save cost presumably. The difference is huge, so go for a nice coffee and bagel... More

GreatLakesroaster, thanks for your 5 star review. We are happy you enjoyed your visit and really appreciate your honest feed back. I will be making sure that "Someone in HQ" sees your review and has the opportunists to make changes to the full breakfast menu. Hope to see you back again next season. ~ Randy More

Good place to stop even if you are just driving through the park. It is roughly half way through the park. You can grab some food if you like...we just stopped to pick up a few souvenirs for our grandson. Prices are reasonable and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Kevin, thanks for taking the time to leave a review, hope to see you back though the park again soon. Our Oxtongue Lake (just west of the park on highway #60) is open year round, they have souvenirs, camping gear, skis and snowshoes there in the winter. You can ski the cross-country trails or snowshoe hike to a waterfall in... More

There are few lunch options in the area and we stopped because we were starving. It was very busy and looked like a tourist trap (like a food joint in an amusement park where you have little to no options hence competition) but I felt motivated to write a review to let people know: their food is really good! It's... More

Thanks for taking the time to write this review Bill. Hope to see you back again soon. Little tip, if you visit Algonquin Park during mid week in the Fall you should hopefully have less crowds to deal with. Thanks. More

With the fall colours at their best, we got an early start from the west gate of the park and drove until this stop for breakfast. Fabulously friendly staff, and a pretty big breakfast menu. We both chose the full eggs breakfast and it really hit the spot. At $8.99 it was not the cheapest, but it was good, and... More

The best grilled cheese I've ever had! We camp in Algonquin at least 3 times a year, both developed and backcountry. If it rains we always stop here for grilled cheese! On hot days you also can't go wrong with Kawartha Dairy ice cream!

Danielle, thanks for the lovely 5 star review for our Lake of Two Rivers Cafe & Grill.
