Great building, very good bedrooms. The reception staff are pretty hopeless, and the restaurant is only ok. Plenty of good eating places within walking distance, though.

The restaurant within the Castle would you think set up for a wonderful setting but the expensive and almost captive clientele is due to the walk downhill for refreshments if without a car is then doubly so on the steep climb back to the hotel...More

We chose the specialty dish with all kinds of fish and found it (a) a bit much, (b) not very refined and (c) not very culinary. The staff did not speak english, which was a bit unexpected given the allure of the hotel.
