Out of five nights staying in Hampi we ate at Chill Out four times for evening meals and four times for breakfast. Good tasty cooking. Coconut porridge and cardamom porridge delicious as were the mains in the evening. Coconut lassi great and big fruit salads....Spinach kofta outstanding. Chill Out has the added advantage of having an area with mattress seating and cushions for relaxing and an area with seats and tables and a backdrop of the temple.More

I ordered a burger and it was flavourless. Maybe other stuff on their menu is ok as they seem to have good reviews. The restaurant itself is nice if you want to have a drink but I’d advise against ordering their burgers.

The Chillout is a quaint little place located off the main road in a quiet corner. The place has mostly low seating options which are quite comfortable. The place also has regular table/chair options. The staff is good and can help you make a choice....The food takes a while to arrive and this was during a not-so busy day. There may be more staff at other times. The food was excellent and they DO HAVE non-veg options. You need to ask for it.More

Good ambience. Combination of floor and table seating. Over looking a plantain plantation. Had a couple of items on the menu. Food was generally good.

Hippiedom right in the middle of a bustling tourist (& traditional )town. One has to literally walk through the charming old lanes of Hampi next to the Virupaksha Temple to reach this place. Passing through a cluster of small and rustic houses, the cafe is...conveniently located in the corner end of a gully. Quirky artwork welcomes you into a spacious room with some furniture and mattresses to place yourself comfortably. Thatched roof and a banana plantation on the side makes this place traditional yet cool at the same time. They have a good spread in their menu and the people working there are really polite and energetic. The food was surprisingly delicious and easy on the pockets. A perfect place to completely relax after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. A Goan vibe in the small hamlet of Hampi...More

I visited at night so couldn't really see the banana plantation which I am sure during the day would be great. The salad was ok could have been better. The soup and pizza was good. The portions are quite generous. The staff is quick.

As a restaurant this place isn’t amazing, the food and drinks are all nice, but from our experience nothing special (masala chai was a low point, breakfast was a high). What it’s great for is as a place to relax. Great atmosphere and relaxed vibe...right on the edge of the banana plantation with the owner’s cats and dogs around (we liked that, some might not). The only thing we didn’t like was when we first arrived we tried to use the WiFi but we’re told there wasn’t any (even though we found the network) and then later overheard another guest sharing the password and got access to working (and quite good by Hampi standards) WiFi. That was just a bit odd really.More

If you haven't been to Old Ganesh Chillout when in Hampi, your trip isn't complete. It was one of the best experiences we have had in a restaurant, cozy sitting, always smiling staff and the food topped everything. From Puri Bhaji to Pancakes, everything was...just the best. Keep up the good work guys. You guys deserve a lot more than just 5 stars.More

We had a western breakfast which included eggs and grilled potatoes/onions/capsicum and toast with butter/jam. I think the cost was 160-180 INR per person.
