We went there after reading many good reviews and pictures on the net...but on reaching the place..it was a completely awful experience...the wall paintings and the seating arrangements are apt ...but the people who work their are damn arrogant and are not at all customer...friendy....now coming to the food part...its damn expensive and also the worst food iv ever tasted...we ordered a fruit pancake...and v wer shocked when v recieved lyk 5 fruit pieces kept in a dosa!!!!!..and a drink v ordered kinda tasted stale...we literally left the place after cancelling our further orders😖More

The restaurant is tucked in a corner on Hippie Island.A great place in the open. Also sitting under what seems like a thatched roof. Very Goan style. Food is good. Loved the place. A great place where you find people from all over the world...lounging on mattresses on the floor. Chairs and tables are also available. People come here more for the uniqueness than the food. A must visit for the Hippie era ambience.More

The restaurant has a great view across the tungabhadra river of the Hampi monuments. The menu offered a lot of variety but the food was just passable. Also it can get warm as it is in the open terrace

Below Average food and very arrogant staff. They refuse to take add on orders!! I ordered drinks and starter first when I was ordering main course they were like why didn't you order in the first place. I did not even ask them to get...it fast. Readymade Chappatis were warmed up and served as fresh. I went there seeing good review however i did not find anything good. Food was far from good. Service was horrible.More

This restaurant is located in the Hampi island. You can go by car or through boat from Virupaksha temple. Food is average but view of river is excellent. If you go by car you need to park your car in a paid parking area and...walk for 2 to 3 min to reach the restaurant.More

Settled for a lunch here. Good place with a view and good food. Worth visiting once. Had some sizzler and fries. Only drawback is the staff dont really understand what you need and you have to keep repeating things again

Beautiful views. Food is a welcome break from the usual food around here, but the taste itself is not exactly very good. The power cuts make it very hard to enjoy however because when we went there was no wind and it got very stuffy....Also, it was packed with people and getting here wasn't easy, the roads are horrible. You also have to walk half a mile from the car park so be prepared for that.More

I visited this place as it got good ratings, however, this place is not managed at all. No one cares if you haven't got a seat/table. I strongly recommend to go to Mango Tree and avoid Laughing Buddha.

Went to Laughing Buddha after a recommendation from a friend. View from the restaurant was amazing (which I guess is only plus point for the restaurant). We ordered Pizza and aalo paratha alongwith limesoda. To our disappointment, food was not good at all. I still...feel the restaurant could improve it's food.More
