One of the best thing which happened in hampi was this. Nothing is as best as the breakfast you get here. Order anything from the menu just for Rs 30. U must try everything from the menu. We stayed for 3 days in hampi and...we couldn't think for anything else as the food made a good start of the day. The management is very nice.More

Amazing breakfast and dinner spot. We had rice balls, puri, dosa and popped rice and it was all absolutely delicious and such good value. We ate here 4 times during 4 days in Hampi!

We were visiting Hampi and wanted to have a have breakfast before heading to visit the temple. We could find mention of sagar hotel and thought it must be a standard Darshini next to the parking lot. The hotel was located in a small lane...next to the Virupaksha temple among many other hotels and small joints. But the food was excellent. Puri Bhaji was just amazing. So was appe and tea to go with it. I would strongly recommend this place. For two of us, we just paid 120 Rs for a fill.More

We had breakfast every morning for 4 days there. We tried paddu for the first time and we loved it so much. Idli and puri were super delicious as well. The food is also cheap (30 rs per plate). The ladies are nice but don't...forget to throw your disposable plate in the bin after eating, first time we ate there, we didn't see the bin, we thought that they will take the plates and one of the ladies was not so happy that we left them on the table.More

Simple and very good food. We tried the dosa, the Puri, the padu and the chai and when I say "try" I mean we stuffed our bellies with it, it was a delicious breakfast. The women there are attentive efficient and know their stuff. Came...every morning, there just a couple of table but a quick turn over of tourists and locals alike so you can seat without problem.More

The women running this place sure know how to satisfy a hungry tummy! They are friendly and welcoming :) It's a great spot for a late breakfast after a morning of exploring the beautiful temples in Hampi. Share dishes with your friends so you can...taste it all! Nice and hot so if you're not a fan of chilli let go of hat and let your mouth burn, it doesn't last so long :) Super great deal regarding prices. A friend and I each had a meal and chai for 160 rupees, in total.. no jokes! :)More

While this place has decent variety, the place seems to be overpriced specially for a place like hampi. The food tastes good and the staff is warm

Sagar Hotel is an all-women initiative that serves yummy traditional South Indian breakfast. Step in to taste yummy paddu, dosas, puris and mandaki (made later in the day). The place is right beside a narrow lane. In fact, seating is on the lane :) But...the lane sees little or no traffic except or an occasional auto rickshaw or TVS 50. The food tastes absolutely yummy. There is no lunch or dinner served. Do try the paddu. They are great.More
