My favourite place for punjabi food in Mcleod. Great eats, and the service is good. Not all staff speak english, but pointing to what you want on the english menu always works!

On way to Macleodganj,in upper Dharmsala, this restaurant is favourite of Punjabis who flock here every week-end. Serves authentic punjabi cuisine and has a flair for savoury dishes. Clean and very cordial. One thing. This is a vegetarian place.

This was one of the first places we've tried in town and really enjoyed it. We both ordered their Veg Thalli (150 rupees) which was delicious and came in a decent portion. Service was good and the atmosphere was okay.

Punjabi Dhaba is a fine place to have a heavy meal at an expensive price. We had our dinner here after completing Triund Trek. We were hungry since morning and this restaurant served daal, paneer and rotis which tasted just fine.

The food we had for dinner here (butter chicken, dal makhni and mix vegetable with naans) was okay. The mix vegetable was tasty, but I found the other two dishes fairly bland. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either.

We love Punjabi Dhaba. It doesn't pretend to be fancy but it does offer great food at great prices and the wait staff are friendly without being overbearing. There's a place to sit outside or inside if you want something more quiet which is good variety. One suggestion... clean the tables more please.
