It looks like a bar because it is a bar, but they aren't serving "bar food ". Nothing frozen and deep fried here. The husband and I refuse to eat at chain restaurants when we take road trips unless it's absolutely necessary. We rely on reviews from other foodies and that's how we found this little gem. It was a... More

The food here is awesome! Huge amounts ! Of authentic Chicago style pizza, nachos, hot dogs, calzones and sandwiches! Beer and full bar also! The games are always on and the beer is always cold! And most of the time you get a free drink bought for you by the owner (who is one of the nicest guys in the... More

If you want to smell like an ashtray, eat here. If you want to be talked to like your an idiot, eat here. If you want sarcastic and rude comments while asking the owner/bartender a simple question, eat here. If you want a menu with no price and guess what your bill will be, eat here. If you want your... Smoked pork butt sandwich is my favorite. It's served on rye with enough meat for 3 sandwiches. We usually split it. Limited menu but you won't go hungry. Boisterous and loud, sometimes smoky, casual and a lot of fun. Chicago style thin crust pizza is awesome. Closed Wednesdays and fairly early for a bar.

Tonight I ordered a Rubin sandwich to go and when I got home I was unbelievably impressed by the size and the flavors all combined into this perfectly grilled sandwich. I am from Long Island New York and really miss a good stuffed Rubin sandwich, I found it here. Excellent

Great local stop in Mountain Home. Always great service, drinks are strong and ice cold, Gumbo is delicious, and the best pizza in town!!

The owner, Shmed, is wonderful and makes you feel like you have just stepped in to his home. The drinks are strong, the company is boisterous, and the atmosphere is fun. Shrimp Gumbo is out of this world. BUT~ THE PIZZA!!! Best in Mountain Home area. The thin crust and authentic chicago meats are incredible. Highly recommend, even if you... More

Pretty much just a redneck bar with pizza. This place doesn't seem to keep regular hours, so you might want to check before you decide to go. Warm day when we went, and the A/C didn't seem to be working much. Very warm inside, and smokey - they allow smoking in the whole place. As mentioned in previous posts, the... More
