We had looked forward to having a special dinner at this restaurant. We had been there before in 2014 and made a special trip up the mountain for dinner. What a disappointment. The service help was very clumsy and spilled gravy all over me, my...More

Enjoy a delicious meal in the rustic warmth of Mather Lodge's main dining room. Large windows frame the view of rugged Cedar Creek Canyon, scenery highlighted each evening by a dramatic sunset. A meeting room (50-person capacity) that can also accommodate small banquets is nearby. This recently renovated portion of Mather Lodge mirrors the 1930s Adirondack-style architecture of the original portions of this historic treasure that were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and expanded by the Works Progress Administration. The main dining room seats up to 104 persons. The restaurant is open daily.
