First time we came here in Autumn. Weather was rainy and when we came inside we had nice mint tea in Turkish style little tea pots, with Lokum plate. It was like a light of the sun in such a grey day ))
Now we came second time to Montenegro and we knew that we should visit again Stari Bar and Merak with its charming style, food, drinks and very friendly owner Melissa.
And I know if we come to Montenegro again, we will visit Merak again )

We visited during Ramadan and had a special evening set menu with many courses. The food was absolutely delicious, possibly the best we've had during our holiday across Montenegro. The staff and owner were amazingly helpful and made me special vegetarian versions of the feast. Lovely location, I highly recommend Merak, a must if visiting Stari Bar!

The world Merak means relax. This is it. You can relax yourself and eat something delicious. I can recomend Llokum - fantastic kind of cake. Owners are very pleasant and speaks english very well. You can order something, which is not included in card. For example my wife orders frosen coffee. The man in bar makes it in his way. It was fantastic drink!!! If You need any informations about Old Town of Bar - owners give them to You.

Really great experience, delicious food (you can either try traditional Montenegro cuisine or Moroccan dishes), everything was fresh and of course obligatory large portions typical for the country.
Tried grilled prawns (fantastic), warm Moroccan pitas (so good that we took to the hotel :D ), freshly squeezed pomegranate juice - very refreshing.
Highly recommend, the people are doing business with soul.

New opened restaurant in the beautiful old town of Stari Bar. Traditional and delicious food. Service was absolutely TOP, friendly and polite. Recommendation of sweet 'DULFATMA' by grandmother's recipe was really great. Tasting this it's a must! Coffee-specialities were also stunning.

Amazing food, great ambiance and the best customer service in Stari Bar. Food looked so good we forgot to take a picture before we ate. The owner Melissa is extremely professional, courteous and you can tell she loves what she does. I recommend also coming here at night it is very beautiful

Very Nice Café / Bar. We felt very welcome.
The „Lokum“ is great!! We can highly recommend this with supplements cheese, marmelade, honey!!
If, you visit Stari Bar, you have to go there! It is quite good located - directly on the way up to the Ruins.
The Ower is very wormly!

Best place in Bar Old City. You will miss so many tastes if you don't visit this place. Melissa, the owner of this restaurant is extremely cute, helpful, kind and positive. Restaurant is clean, has the best spot. Foods; it's insane. You will love it!!!!

We went here a week or so ago.
Visiting from London, UK.
What a lovely random find we stumbled across along these beautiful cobbled streets.
We had lokum aka puri and oh my they were the most wonderful treat. I have thought about them a few times since... Wishing I could have them.
We are due to come back in a few weeks and we will be heading there with our 3 Children this time and honestly I am so excited!
We also had some lovely baklava and ice cream and a mint tea.
The place is very pretty and the owner is so lovely, friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed talking to her.
We will be back for some food and lokum and tea very soon!
It's a must try place!!

Stopped here for breakfast having read the Trip Advisor reviews. Absolutely not disappointed. The Lokum was amazing. Also had traditional coffee and ginger and mint tea. Great service, great price, lovely setting. Spot on really.

Delicious food on our first day in Stari Bar. We had the original Lokum, the Granola and the Moroccan Mint tea shared by two people and was a great breakfast!
