Staffs are not smilling including the manager, took 35 minutes before our food was served. We transferred to another table because the noise of their aircon bothers us but no one cared to help us. Food was so-so, Crispy Kangkong not crispy! There are other reataurants that can offer you good food but affordable.

If you're looking for a restaurant with an overlooking view of Taal, this one should be considered in your list. Food didnt really have a big impact on me. It's good, but they can make it better. It's like 20% of the food price is taken from the view. But overall, it's a good restaurant to try.

The restaurant has lived to its reputation. It was our first choice to have dinner. Everything is perfect except for the baked mussels. We can hardly see the cheese. Maybe its their recipe. We are used to see baked mussels with mussels fully coated and overflowing with cheese. But the dish served to us was lightly coated with cheese and... More

Food was typical Filipino food. Loved the tuyo. Corned beef was really salty and when we informed the staff about it they immediately replaced it. Love the nostalgic feeling of eating breakfast with a perfect view of the Magnificent Taal Volcano

Coming from our Visitq Iglesia and wanting to avoid traffic, we decided to have lunch somewhere near our accomodation for that day, Escala Tagaytay. Food was typical Filipino fare loved their Fish Fillet and "dirty" ice cream dessert. Not bad for a Php450 buffet in Tagaytay

The restaurant has a nice view of Taal. Service is good. The food is good and they have large servings. Cleanliness of the restaurant is good, we request some candles so that the fly will not go into our food. The ambiance is great.

My mom rarely tags along with us on a long trip. She enjoyed Tagaytay's cold air and atmosphere but she remembered how she enjoyed her dining pleasure at Josephine's more. Thank you for the delightful and memorable time with mom. We hope to bring her back soon.😁👍

Josephines gone bad along with the water supply in Tagaytay is unable to deliver. Be careful your plates may not be cleaned properly due to the water shortage in Tagaytay. Better off going somewhere that has paper plates...

I had lunch here recently and was thrilled by the views from the veranda. The restaurant overlooks a volcanic/crater lake and the scenery is truly spectatcular. The food was delicious with loads of choice and reasonably priced. If you travel to Manila it is well worth visiting Tagaytay and Josephine's restaurant.

Whenever we go up to Tagaytay for our brief vacation, it's already our family's long tradition to have our first meal, usually lunchtime @Josephine Restaurant, and besides trying some new stuff, our usual top of the list trio are Beef Bulalo, Fried Tawilis and Steamed Oyster. The Place is huge for big groups, nice Filipino ambiance, good service, very accommodating... More
