There are two Cafe Aaras both located on the main road of Rantepao, and both good. Same owners, but the biggest of the cafes is made Muslim friendly (for instance no pork). I've had very good food in both restaurants. In both places the staff...More

Staff did well to cope with presenting a meal in the dark as the street had been without electric all day. Staff were very pleasant and enthusiastic. The food is average. The buffalo steak could have been strapped to my feet and taken me up...More

Having eaten dinner is Cafe Aras , we found the food acceptable but not exceptional . The staff are friendly and the cafe is nicely decorated.

Cafe Aras is a typical cafe you can find at any city. It is clean with fast WiFi, ambience is good (FYI it was an art gallery), friendly staff (one of them speaks good Mandarin), food is more to Western side. Taking the acceptance of...More

We had diner there while staying in Rantepao. Service is very quick and food is excellent. Don't miss the taramillo juice, the buffalo steak and the pancakes. Good prices. I recommend 100%.

We went to both Aras Cafes and enjoyed the older/smaller one, Aras 1, much more. Menu is the same, but the service is better and so is the atmosphere. Food is nice - decent pizza! And good wifi.
