place was recommanded by a local, food was fine - be brave to try sweet potato garlic pancake :-) in the evening sometimes guides meet up here and play music and drink a beer

A touristic place also visited by locals, mainly tour guides. The food is quite good and special torajan plates can be enjoyed here. The decoration is made up of more or less old torajan items ( carved wood plates, statues and doors) that are also available for sale.

This was our first meal after arriving from Makassar. The place is nice enough, but not great. Ps: Check the menu for funny typos

Good food at a reasonable price and cold beers-exactly what you need after a long hot day sightseeing! The owner was very attentive and helpful

I wanted to try Torajan flavor but as a vegetarian was struggling to find something. Rimiko was happy to accommodate by preparing a traditional dish vegetarian style. Very tasty, and very much appreciated.

Had an evening meal here; pork in soy sauce and chicken curry. Quite good and large portions, so good value for money. There is a mixture of western and local cuisine and if you want Torajan specials, you have to order at least 3 hours in advance. Good atmosphere.

Even cooked in bamboo, but you have to order that 2 hour before, it takes time to cook it. The prices are ok. Arround 40 rp a meal. Which tast really good, the best... More

We were not very lucky with our choices of places to eat in Rantepao, until the owner of our hostel recommended Rimiko. It's located on a main road in Rantepao, so with a bit of searching we found it. The sitting area is inside the restaurant and there are few tables outside, which was nice for the people watching. There were... More

At Rimiko you'll find real good food for a fair price. The place is, I must admit, oriented on westerners but this is due to their good reputation. Try it out sometime, especially the local steemed dishes or the Indonesian Saté Ayam.
