Apart from the fact Coffee Post is located in the heart of town, the taste of the amazing Tongan coffee, friendly customer service and variety of cakes and savouries was amazing. I visited on several occassions and was impressed by the clientele that frequented for their daily coffee (eg. NZ High Commissioner). Definately worth a stop for a coffee and... More
Low-key atmosphere, this place seems popular with locals and expats on a Saturday. Great location and superb to have somewhere outside to sit. Ordered a green juice, turned out to have interesting flavours. Would recommend replacing the paata with regular bananas and it would be a hit.
We visited the Coffee Post on two occasions while in Tonga Both visits were pretty sweet....The coffee was a hit with us both, great service and always with a smile. We had a light lunch both times and gotta say the food was very tasty. The owner Rosemary was present both times and had the Coffee Post ticking away nicely. The outdoor seating... Right by the post office and the banks. About a block or 2 from the main market. They had lots of things out when we were there and the coffee is really strong. Some days are better than others. Still has great seating and the girls are really nice.
This place has amazing coffee. Their long black is in my top 10 world wide. The other two coffee places in town don't even compare. They also have the best banana bread ever. Better than my mom's. Get it warmed up, you'll be amazed.
Coffee post do great coffee, food and fresh veg. It's always worth popping in to see what produce they have available from Nishi as it changes every day. The coffee is really good here and they have great healthy lunch options, although it's best to get in early as most things sell out over lunchtime.
If your in need of a caffeine rush this is the best place to get your coffee, for food I would look elsewhere as they don't have much variety but definitely coffee is the best.
