Good hamburger and sweet tea. On Hwy 7 north of Hot Springs Village. Family owned. Across road from Jessieville schools so it can be crowded prior to sporting events

If you're traveling Highway 7 to or from Hot Springs, Jessieville might seem like too close to make a stop. It's not. The Shack, located directly across the street from the school, has a charm that makes it worth the stop, even if you do have to access the bathrooms from the outside. The food is simply outstanding. The four... More

Stopped on my way home from Hot Springs, really crowded with a school bus full of cheerlears and pom squad. Sat at the counter, ordered and figured it would take forever, but not all that long. Burger was prett good, bun could have been toasted to make it better. Onion Rings were good, Chocolate Shake was great. They worked thru... More

We had been riding our motorcycles all day and it was approaching 3:00 and we came up on The Shack. Honestly, we just wanted something to eat and this was the first place we could find after riding in the mountains all day. It was good, overall. The place is kind of like a walk up to the window kind... More

the Shack is a favorite of locals. The menu is like a diner featuring hamburgers, cat fish and chili dogs. Favorites of patrons include delicious shakes and malts, fried okra and onion rings. The Shack is very casual and everyone is very friendly. Low prices are an additional reason the Shack is so popular.

Hubs loves the burgers, taco salad and their other items..............me I eat the fish. One week I visited the restaurant four times for lunch and ate the Catfish Dinner all four times. lol...
