Misia Jacinta is just down the street from the Marriott. Had lunch here a couple of times and it has very good local food at a reasonable price. The service is quick and our waiter today suggested the lunch of Milenise Pollo with yuca. Along with 2 local beers, the overall price was 2000 Bloivers (about $5usd).

Should you go to Caracas and feel the need to try some real & typical Venezuelan food (which you should), while staying near El Rosal or Chacaito, Misia Jacinta is one of the right and safe choices to do this. The place is located in the intersection of two busy streets, so you won't be short of noise and sounds.... More

Best shrimp or chicken Chupe you can have in Caracas, wide offering in stuffed arepas, fruit juices and batidos, everything so fresh and available all day long. Close to a Metro station. Do not miss it.

Great place to just get your arepa fix. Probably not the ultimate place in Caracas for the arepa, but they have a full menu of venezuelan fare, including monster cachapas, beast arepas and great fruit juices. I will be back!

You have to have their mondongo and their cachapas. My friend always has their fried chicken. Everything is good. The atmosphere is casual and airy, the restaurant is open onto the streets. The service is always fast and attentive without being aggressive or pushy.

This place is great Venezuelan food. It's on a corner, open air. Plenty of space and it's open 24/7. They have all the classics: arepas, cachapas, chupe, grilled meat, chicken, pabellon. I've never had anything bad here. The juices are very good, as is the pabellon. My absolute favorite thing here is the chupe de pollo. It's a bit heavy,... More
