Visited at lunchtime while we were staying at 'The Old Stable' just accross the road from the pub. The meals we had were fantastic and the portion size was so generous neither of us could finish our plates! Really lovely pub and friendly staff

Visited the seven stars inn last week on a family reunion. Both the food and the staff were excellent with the staff making us feel very welcome. The portion sizes were large and the food was very tasty. Will definitely be visiting again!

Superb food, supberb service. Definitely worth a visit. The owners were very welcoming and the food was second to none. Off the beaten but well worth a visit. Highly recommended. 10 out 10.

So worth the visit. Although the Inn was a tad chilly when we arrived (being the first customers of the day) the landlord provided a warm welcome and the hot and hearty meals eaten by the four of us were very tasty. A typical small village pub/restaurant, don't let the facade or the limited car parking put you off. This... More

I have eaten three times here and each time surpasses the last. I have friends in Aberedw and Nantmel and we go here to eat every time I come to Wales. The food is wonderful, very generous portions - I couldn't eat all my chicken kebabs and Craig was happy to give me what was left to take home. Craig... More

Travelling from Cardiff heading north around evening meal time and called in. It certainly lives up to all its reviews. I can only praise all aspects of the offer. From the welcome, to the selection of ale to the quality and quantity of the meal its self. A real gem of a place and also very good value for money.... More

7 adults and 3 children arrived to a warm welcome. Chicken liver pate and Leek and Potato soup starters were home made and tasty. Followed by the most enormous platefuls of roast beef with all the trimmings and proper homemade gravy. Good choice of vegetables too. Puds were a bit more mediocre- probably bought in. Good choice of real ales.... More

We organised a surprise birthday lunch for my 85 y.o. father. The owners were very friendly and made our family feel most welcome. Our chosen dishes were delicious and the portions generous. We enjoyed the cosy atmosphere in front of the fire, just perfect to savour the excellent ales! Will visit again soon.

This tiny inn is tucked away in the small village of Aberedw off the main valley of the River Wye, near Builth Wells. Craig and Jo are brilliant hosts and serve the most enormous portions you could wish for. A wide range of starters, mains and desserts, together with tasty snacks satisfy all. I challenge anyone to finish their Full mixed... More

I was in a party of 20+ women having prebooked following a visit to Abby Cwm Hir. The pub was cosy, warm, with a welcoming fire. Owner and staff very friendly with lots of "banter" between us. The bar was full of locals, walkers, dogs, children - a fabulous atmosphere. We were in the dining area which was bright.. Menu was... More
