Our third visit but disappointing. The main course had to be sent back. The lamb was excellent but the vegetables and garni were cold. It is so basic: if you can't serve a hot meal hot then you shouldn't be in the business. The serving...More

This is one of the best meals we've eaten in recent years, better than recent dining at Michelin starred restaurants in Bath. I could have eaten anything off the menu - it was all so appealing. Clever combinations of flavours and ingredients which didn't disappoint...More

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. It has a beautiful location in the old village of Lacock. Lots of atmosphere and history but there can be a down side to this. i.e. If you are tall the beams are hazardous. There isn't much...More

Hi, Thank you for getting in touch. We don't have any official Coeliac Society accreditation; perhaps we should look into the criteria, as we always offer dishes that are suitable for Coeliacs. Furthermore, we will always... More

Hi, We just have bedrooms in the main building. The cottages over the stream are owned but someone else. I'm not sure if they are still B&B rooms. Please let me know if I can help any further. Best Wishes, Tom
Hi there, We are thinking of booking a lunch for our friends 40th. Do you have a selection of vegetarian options? Also, obviously at our cost, could we have some balloons (nice ones haha) put up for lunch & a cake. Many thanks Lee & Stephen

Our menus are created from fresh, seasonal ingredients in order to serve great tasting dishes from honest foods. We source our produce from local suppliers here in the West Country to ensure that the food process is traceable, and from sustainable farmers, growers and butchers. Our list of drinks are carefully selected brands, while offering some familiar favourites we also present some fantastic artisan refreshments. Our wines are picked to compliment our menu and offer great value.
