Church Stretton, Sunday, Lunchtime - Nowhere open apart from Berry's ! Thus, Berry's it was! Cosy or cramped ? Quaint or Cluttered ? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we firmly believe it's the former in each case. A quintessentially old style English tea room, with great food, friendly, welcoming service and an extremely relaxing atmosphere. A... More

We arrived quite late in the town (4pm) and a few places were closed or closing but this hidden café was open for business! We had delicious home made cakes and a pot of tea each chosen from a wide selection. Service was friendly. Tables are situated quite close together which can make for a friendly getting to know your... More

We were delighted to find that these tea rooms were dog friendly and settled in by a lovely warm fire for an amazing brie and bacon sandwhich and ham and cheese toastie. We then had a cream tea which was also delicious. Great selection of food and cakes and friendly service.

Popped in with friends on a drizzly day and enjoyed lovely Brie and bacon sandwich, warming ourselves by the fire. Lots of tasty looking cakes and puddings which took some will power to resist but as we had only managed a 45 minute walk before rain set in though we didn't deserve any. Will have to come back again when... More

We landed here after a very snowy hike up the Long Mynd A couple of coffees and toasted tea cakes restored our senses . The fire was roaring enabling us to dry off our coats and my backside from an earlier close encounter with a very slippy decent from the hills.

Down its back lane, very cosy on a snowy day. Discover the English cassis in the pudding, but the highlight is always the rarebit for me.

This is a lively cafe in a quaint building. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent range of savoury dishes including home made soups, quiches, salads and pies. The bakewell tart is to die for.

We stopped in for breakfast and arrived after 11am when breakfast finished, but serving us breakfast was no problem. The serving staff were great and while the wait for breakfast was a good 15 minutes the breakfast when it arrived was fresh, hot and really well cooked. Totally recommend it.

An amazing and atmospheric coffee house maze of small furnished rooms. Great scrambled egg breakfast and superior cakes with your afternoon tea.
