we went back to the Shagorika as my wife and I met there. I asked if they could arrange a cake and some roses for my wife. I arrived, we had a special table with stars all over it, roses and petals. My wife was really happy we ordered champagne, starters and 2 different meals from the chef special dishes. The food was served promptly and hot. The champagne was cold - great!. after the meal they presented my wife with an anniversary cake and a complimentary bouquet of roses. An amazing evening made better by the attitude of the staff. Friendly and helpful..

My mother and I booked a table whilst we were staying near Market Harborough. From point of entry the place was spotless and welcoming with anti bac hand sanitizer and track / trace measures which is reassuring. The front of house / waiters were friendly, happy to help with menu choices, knowledgeable and polite. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. A really nice meal in a nice setting. Can highly recommend when in the area, give it a visit and you won't be disappointed.

The staff are very friendly and take time to help you decide what curry would best suit your taste. We wanted to try something different from the usual and the recommendations were a very enjoyable alternative.
The food arrived quickly and served with a smile
It was our first time but will definitely be back.
At the end of the night the owner went through the menu and tucked some other dishes for us to try next time.

This restaurant on St Mary's Road is easily missed or passed by as a take away. Well worth eating here. Really good Indian/Nepalese/Asian menu with some extremely tasty dishes, many a little different to other places. Decor and layout a bit 'old hat' but do not be put off by that or the more traditional staff. One of the best tasting meals of the type we have had recently at very affordable prices. Gather this is also a popular take away for locals too and this is no surprise. Recommend that you give it a try.

Initially I booked online as a first time couple date. Very friendly staff, nice indoor decoration, and romantic atmosphere. Me and my gf enjoyed our time very much, the was authentic. My gf has a small appetite and managed to finish it all, including desserts which was kindly offered on the house by the manager. Great experience, definitely coming back. Munir was a friendly and conversational waiter. The staff as a whole took great care of us, even offered us to put our own music on to make it more romantic.

Amazing Indian restaurant with lovely tasting authentic curries. Waiting staff were very helpful and suggested two top quality dishes which my girlfriend and I really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to our next visit.

Came here following a disgusting experience at Cinnamon Lounge waited there over an hour after ordering with no food.
Came to Shagorika and were attended to extremely well with attentive service and food was served just under 40 minutes perfect.
Clean and well presented staff. Food was also very good, the meats were tender and well cooked not like other places experienced tasted frozen thawed.
All in all a good place for Indian food in market Harborough

What a fantastic Indian restaurant in market Harborough. The food is always exceptional, obviously when they get the order right. On this particular night I ordered two starters to share with my main meal. The restaurant owner (only member of staff in a suit and tie) took our order and got it all wrong. All the starters are on one plate so hard to share and flavours all mixed up. I explained a few times that I want the starters to come with the main meal and separate. His English was very poor and I couldn’t really understand him. Bar that, always a great place to eat.

This was our first visit.The welcome and service were friendly . Food was exceptional and promptly delivered.
Overall, the meal was the best curry we have experienced after 50 years of visiting curry restaurants in the UK and worldwide.

I have been to shagorika and the management team is the same. The quality of food is not diminished in quality and quantity. The shagorkia restaurant still serves the favourite fusion and traditional dishes.some customers are upset because the restaurant does not serve any alcohol anymore therefore are making ridiculous comments. However the restaurant has taken this decision to Introduce the “bring your own alcohol” concepts which means you can bring as much as you want your own alcoholic drinks to restaurant to consume whilst they provide you with the glasses and bottle opener with small service charge. This is because the restaurant has decided to minimise, the alcohol beverage stock, which it does not always sell, and extra staff. It tough time for customers and restauranteurs while living cost is increasing.

We've eaten at several Indian restaurants in Market Harborough, the experience at Shagorika was by far the best. Both of us had chicken dishes, which were tender, tasty and perfectly spiced. Service from Munir and his team was exemplary. After such a great meal, we were pleased that such exceptional quality came at a very reasonable price. We will be back and would recommend Shagorika to anyone looking for a quality meal in the area.

After more than a year under lockdown , having weekly deliveries from Shagorika, tonight we had a really outstanding meal which surpassed their already very good standards. King Prawn Ceylon, Mustard King Prawn, matter Paneer, Saag bhaji and garlic rice. Absolutely superb!

We have had a lovely evening with friends , the food was fantastic munir our host was very friendly and helpful and tended to all our needs.
The restaurant has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Will definitely visit again.

The wife and I had dinner here 20th April 2024. It was exceptional, very warm greeting and friendly staff. We noted on the website that we are permitted to bring our own alcohol, which was an interesting change, they provided a chiller for our wine which was great.
Very reasonable price, we shared a starter (Mixed kebab) which was beautiful and two curries and a rice, nann, and side to share which was plenty. I had sone of the specialities which was chicken in sauce cooked with keema in the middle, it was wonderful.
We would definitely go back.

We have used Shagorika on a few occasions as we live in Harborough. Consistently good. Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night. Methi Chicken superb. Meat so tender. Chicken tikka very good too. We also enjoyed samosas and tarka daal with breads. Service always great. Would recommend to others.
