Went here for lunch twice. First time there was 9 of us and it was a lovely hot day so we sat outside today there was only 4 of us so we sat inside I love the fact that they are dog friendly lunch was good both days. Expensive but understandably so due the the perfect setting loved it very... More

Not accommodating to requests regarding dinner. When I requested my dinner not to be stacked on top of each other I was told I couldn't, I simply wanted none of my food touching. The argumentative waitress flat out refused even though it was a simple request-she told me it all got cooked together, then when challenged as the mash and... More

This is a delightful place overlooking the harbourside and Lyme Bay and a short walk from the infamous Cobb. The venue has a very good aspect where patrons can eat al fresco and enjoy the incredible views and watch the busy esplanade. There is table service but it is advisable to pop inside and make your order as during the... More

Visiting with friends and our kids over Easter. Managed to find a table - we could see it was reserved in 10 minutes but we were only having a quick drink and were happy to move when required. However, a woman came over and rudely said 'I'm going to need this table you know'. We said we'd happily move when... More

We'd wandered along the prom looking for an eatery and were delighted with our choice. First impressions count and the waitress saw us eyeing up the queue to order at the bar so she took ours at the table. Both mains were great, the gurnard from the specials board was very tasty and the bouillabaisse (sic?) was chock full of... More

Cozy atmosphere close to the Cobb, with the locals having a sundowner outside. Good lobster thermidor inside at reasonable price (23 £). Even better: the fried squids for a starter. Decent selection of wines.

We liked this place so much that we visited three times in a row and ordered the same dish twice. The food is excellent, the service is very warm and friendly and the atmosphere very vibrant. The beer is well kept and the wine list also varied and good value.

I love this place. We have been going there for years, summer and winter and never a duff meal. Sit out on the balcony in the summer or tuck yourself away in the bar or restaurant in the winter. I cant really say what is the pick of the menu but bouillabaisse does it for me or the steak or... More

Enjoyed some Pimms from the pumps here in Lyme....and it was wonderful, really nice and cold on a hot spring day. Beautiful setting sat on the beach front. Highly recommended

Tried the lobster thermidor which was on the specials of the day. It had less cheese than I expected for that type of sauce, but the taste was really good and that's why I am giving 5 stars. It looked like a regular pub during the day, but dinner was really good.
