Loads of locally sourced meat choices, today beef, turkey and pork. Lots of fresh vegetabkes including mustard leeks, red cabbage or plain old peas and carrots. All for £11 per adult. Child portions available. Friendly and relaxed team. Excellent value.

Seven of us plus a dog and toddler had an early dinner here just before Christmas. The food was very good - the carvery went down especially well with those who had it. There’s a good choice of locals beers on hand pumps too. The...More

Has to be one of the best carveries I've had. Can choose 2 meats and there is a wide selection of vegetables. Always freshly cooked and piping hot. 3 real ales and selection of ciders. Staff are very pleasant.

We have been for a carvery before & it was delicious & had many meals since & it never disappoints. A lovely family friendly pub with great service! Would recommend a visit.

It's rubbish. Carvery looks like it's been there since lunchtime. The barmaid has no idea how to pour lager so I've ended up with a £4.10 flat pint. And they've taken the barstools away because it's summer. No much of a pub.

Large car park and children’s play area which are huge assets in this area. The pub is split over several rooms which is nice, they all seem to get fairly busy and is popular with locals who knew the staff. Only 2 small tables weren’t...More

Agree with everybody about parking. Extremely busy during summer and on Sunday carvery when it's always rammed. Best to book a table.
