We had a great meal at Prawn on the Farm with our baby in tow. The atmosphere is fresh and almost festive - bunting, welcoming staff, lovely music. We had an array of small plates - all delicious and satisfying - and enjoyed that they...arrived at a tasting menu pace and from cold to hot. We wish the restaurant could stay “at the Farm” - so much nicer than a more ordinary town restaurant with the accompanying hassle with parking!!More

Absolutely perfect from the service, the venue and of course the food! Not as expensive as some other Padstow restaurants, but head and shoulders above for experience. Already rebooked!

Best service and meal we have had for a while. The service was super friendly and professional. Great venue and atmosphere. The small plates are such a good idea as it gave us the opportunity to try several different dishes. The cocktails and desserts also...deserve a special mention. We loved it and would highly recommend it.More

Wow wow wow the best meal we have had this week in Padstow !! Jess and the staff are absolutely delightful and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and relaxed. They all clearly know their wines and have good knowledge about the food....Can’t wait to come back and have another plate of deep fried oysters 🦪More

We got a cancellation on the day of my partners birthday, and we are so glad we went. The night started off somewhat of a disaster, after we had turned up to the restaurant in Padstow only to realise they have temporarily relocated to a...farm a short distance away. Being a birthday, and a Friday night we weren't able to get a cab and we were looking at missing out all together until Johnny from the restaurant called to see where we were, only to offer to come and collect us! Once we finally made it to the restaurant, we were not disappointed. The atmosphere inside was brilliant and the food was just as good. We had a small selection of small plates as starters to share. All were equally great but the John Dory stood out for me. We then shared the Plaice and it was beautifully cooked. Overall we can't fault this place and we will certainly come back. We fully intend to make it a 'must visit' every time we are in town.More

This was our third visit to Prawn on the Farm, where POTL located themselves during COVID - in a marquee on a farm overlooking the camel estuary. The choice and quality of the sea food is quite exceptional, catering extremely well for my parties various...allergies (Rapeseed, dairy, egg white etc). Service was impeccable, never rushed and always with a smile. This must have been one of the greatest restaurants to be born over COVID. Bravo for whoever had the brainwave and long may this venue continue. The formula for this place along with the prices is to be recommended.More

Having booked months ago after Reading lots of reviews we were really looking forward to what we thought would be our highlight of the trip. Staff were nice and welcoming and explained the menu well. We enjoyed the food but felt the portion sizes were...very small making it poor value for money. Certainly not the best seafood we have ever had by a long way. The fish stew lacked flavour and the prawns were so tiny by the time you’d picked them apart there was nothing left! The potatoes were really good but we came for the fish which disappointed. The tent was cold so would think about wearing something warm now it’s getting late in the year. We won’t return unfortunately.More

Prawn on the Lawn has moved to Prawn on the Farm. Great seafood and tapas style starters. Informal atmosphere in a great position overlooking Padstow bay. Large garden area to take your desserts and coffees. Great drinks and service.

The food was absolutely incredible, and the service was second to none. I couldn't recommend this place any higher, and can't wait to come back again in future!!

Not that I am aware although as it is tapas style food or small portions for all intents and purposes you could classify them as kid sized dishes
